| Multimodal teaching mode refers to a new teaching mode that uses two or more symbol resources and means to present teaching content in the process of instructional design to mobilize students’ multiple senses to participate in language learning.In essence,teaching Chinese as a foreign language also belongs to foreign language teaching,but the research results of applying multimodal teaching mode to teaching Chinese as a foreign language are few.This thesis takes the elementary Chinese comprehensive course of foreign students as an example to explore the application of multimodal teaching mode in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Firstly,the Chinese language learning situation and study habits of foreign students in the elementary stage are investigated and studied through the questionnaire survey method.It is found that most teachers still use the teaching mode to teach,which is based on a single auditory mode.Insufficient diversity cannot lead to students’ enthusiasm for learning Chinese.In another word,traditional language teaching cannot fully satisfy students’ desire for knowledge and awareness.Secondly,taking the specific curriculum as an example,the multi-modal teaching mode is used to carry out more specific and detailed classroom teaching design.According to the actual classroom teaching situation and interviews with students,it is found that the multi-modal teaching mode is conducive to stimulating students’ interest in learning.Increasing the motivation of students’ learning helps to improve students’ comprehensive language ability,classroom teaching effects,and students’ self-confidence in learning Chinese.Finally,it puts forward the problems that should be paid attention to when multi-modal teaching mode is used in the processof teaching.For example,in order to benefit the elementary Chinese comprehensive course more for foreign students,it should choose the appropriate modal combination with the teaching purpose,teaching link,course content and individual student differences,etc..Therefore,in the elementary Chinese comprehensive class,the use of modern multimedia technology and multimodal teaching mode for teaching meet the objective requirements of teaching in the new era. |
