With the wave of’Chinese fever"sweeping across the globe,the demand for Chinese language learning is increasing in the world,which has led to an increasing demand for international Chinese teachers.The Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language(hereafter referred to as MTCSOL)is the reserve army of international Chinese teachers in the future.MTCSOL student teachers should make full use of this teaching method in the teaching process,especially in the design of classroom activities.The game teaching method can teach through lively activities,so that learners can"leam by doing".Their study interest would be improved through enjoyable learing.Furthermore,their progress will enhance the confidence of MTCSOL student teachers,paving the way for them to embark on formal teacher careers in the future.Based on the results analyze of questionnaire from some MTCSOL cadet teachers in Anhui University grade 2017 and some Thai volunteer cadet teachers who have used the game teaching method and in combination with the comparison of the teaching effects of the game teaching method conducting by international Chinese teachers and MTCSOL cadet teachers.This article takes the MTCSOL cadet teachers as the research object and tries to analyze the reasons why the MTCSOL cadet teachers use the game teaching method unsuccessfully or fail to achieve the expected results,and make suggestions.The specific content of this article has the following parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the research background,purpose,significance,summary,theory,ideas and methods.The second part includes the second chapter,the third chapter and the fourth chapter.The second chapter describes the purpose of the questionnaire,the design of the questionnaire and the analysis of the questionnaire results.In the third chapter,the reasons why the MTCSOL cadet teachers use the game teaching method unsuccessfully or fails to achieve the expected effect are found through observeing the calssroom of MTCSOL student teachers and international Chinese teachers who have conduct the game teaching method.Based on the questionnaire and classroom observation,the fourth chapter advises to the MTCSOL student teacher from their own sides and relevant departments.The third part is the conclusion includes article summary and brings forward the deficiency.According to the survey,MTCSOL cadet teachers who have been teaching for more than 6 months are more proficient in game teaching and MTCSOL cadet teachers with more than 20 students in class size,more than 5 games per week and more than 10 minutes of game time have the greatest influence on classroom game teaching method.Before the game,the cadet teacher of MTCSOL should pay attention to the explanation of the game rules.In the game,MTCSOL cadet teachers should pay attention to students’game state,control the game time,and design the game to reflect the competition mechanism.After the game,the rewards given by MTCSOL should resonate with the students.
