Under the influence of Chinese culture for a long time,Chinese euphemism has unique characteristics of distortion and concealment.This feature is particularly prominent in the daily communication applications of Chinese,so that it is often difficult for foreigners who study Chinese as a second language to understand and understand this.Therefore,the mastery of euphemism has become a major problem part of Chinese learning.This is the main reason why this article chooses Chinese euphemism acquisition as the research object.We first define the function and classification of Chinese euphemism based on the previous studies of Chinese euphemism.The concealment function,modesty function,humor function and diplomatic function of Chinese euphemism are clarified.Starting from the construction of language,Chinese euphemism is divided into phonetic euphemism,vocabulary euphemism,grammar euphemism and pragmatic euphemism.We use the questionnaire survey method as the main method,the literature research method,the observation method and the case study method to supplement the survey method,and quantitatively and qualitatively analyze the acquisition of Chinese euphemism for foreign students.We believe that Chinese euphemism for foreign students is naturally acquired in daily communication with Chinese people.Chinese learners whose mother tongue culture is influenced by Chinese culture have better mastery of Chinese euphemism than language learners from other countries.The learning level of learners who hold good learning motivation for Chinese euphemisms is higher than the average level of survey samples.The order of learning difficulty from low to high is: grammar euphemism,phonetic euphemism,vocabulary euphemism,pragmatic euphemism language.Through the survey data,the author analyzes the pragmatic bias in the process of Chinese euphemism acquisition for foreign students,and summarizes the reasons for the pragmatic bias of foreign students from both subjective and objective aspects.The subjective reasons are the knowledge of foreign students' native language.The interference of own culture,the generalization of the target language and the limitation of language ability.The objective reasons are the lack of pragmatic teaching,the lack of cultural teaching,and the lack of teachers' evaluation of Chinese euphemism for foreign students.In response to the students' bias performance and the reasons for the errors,we give some teaching suggestions for Chinese euphemism.Such as the use of explanations,cultural introduction,contrast,analysis and situational practice methods and other practical and reasonable teaching methods,using different forms of multimedia means to improve classroom teaching efficiency,at the same time,in the preparation of Chinese euphemology textbooks,the content of the textbooks Based on the real Chinese context,paying attention to cultural differences,and being able to keep pace with the times.
