Study On Documentary Films Of China's National Image

With China gradually approaching the center of the world stage,the shaping and dissemination of the national image has been paid more and more attention.Documentary has the important value and unique advantage of documenting and disseminating the national image.It has become an important and urgent task to study how to further promote the international acceptance and reputation of the national image of China through the creation of the documentary.Strategic research topics.By combing the documentaries produced by CCTV from 2012 to 2018 to show the image of the country,this paper analyzes its creative characteristics in the aspects of the performance theme,the production of sound and painting,and the communication strategy,and sums up the "Chinese national form" on the basis of the analysis of the characteristics of the documentary produced by CCTV in 2012-2018.Such as documentary "this new documentary creation paradigm." This paper uses the methods of case analysis,comparative analysis,content analysis and so on,and draws lessons from the theories of sociology,art,communication and so on to carry on the analysis and discussion.This paper is divided into five parts: introduction,three chapters and conclusion in parallel.The introduction defines the concept of "Chinese national image documentary",explains the origin and significance of the research,and reviews the current research situation of the national image documentary.The research methods and innovations of this paper are pointed out.The first chapter mainly discusses the construction function of the multi-theme of documentary to the national image.Chinese excellent traditional culture is the foundation and connotation of Chinese national image.The creative transformation and innovative development of the theme of excellent traditional culture by documentary shows the inheritance logic between excellent traditional culture and advanced modern civilization.The achievements of modernization construction and contemporary humanistic features are the "hardware" and "software" of constructing the national image,and the two themes are intermingled with each other and promote each other closely.Through these three themes,thedocumentary forms a progressive logic and helps to construct a complete and clear national image.The second chapter analyzes the dynamic form of documentary film to shape the national image.The documentary creates a sense of visual impact through the extensive use of vision and panorama,rapid editing and aerial camera lens,and strengthens the subjectivity of sound by highlighting the simultaneous sound,generalization and populace of interpretation and embedding of music;Through the choice and transformation of time,the dispersion and unity of space to create short-film narrative.Although the three functions are different,but each other is complementary,indispensable.Documentary through these three characteristics,from the picture,voice and narrative three dimensions constitute a comprehensive and systematic national image.The third chapter carries out the research on the national image strategy of the accurate positioning and dissemination of documentary films.The three strategies of strengthening the effective communication,setting the national image agenda and constructing the international communication constitute the three levels of the accurate positioning of the documentary respectively.This set of communication strategy makes the upstream and downstream of documentary communication,further straightens out the link and flow of Chinese national image documentary,and is beneficial to coordinate each stage and allocate resources reasonably in the process of communication.The conclusion part aims at two reasons for the appearance of Chinese national image documentary,which is a new paradigm of documentary: first,the domestic documentary creators have stepped up their efforts to learn from foreign advanced documentary creation experience;Second,the inevitable requirements for the innovation of documentaries in the course of China's development and progress,and further proposed that China's national image documentaries should continue to learn from advanced experiences in the future,and consolidate the achievements made in the development of domestic documentaries at present.Continue to create more and better display of China's national image documentaries.
