A Report On The English-Chinese Translation Of Movement Primitive Segmentation For Human Motion Modeling

Since science and technology occupy a very important position in the world.Nowadays,China’s industrial and scientific work has made great progress,but in some areas,the gap between China and foreign countries is still very obvious,so we must learn from its advantages and technology.Nevertheless,language is a bridge to connect with other countries,so the translation of science and technology English is particularly important.The original material is “Movement Primitive Segmentation for Human Motion Modeling”.The original content mainly studied the long sequences of human movement observation data to be segmented into smaller components through the Movement primitive segmentation so as to facilitate movement identification,modeling,and learning.Now it has been applied to gesture recognition,human-machine interaction,and robot imitation learning.This report will take the translation of Movement Primitive Segmentation for Human Motion Modelling as an example,and take the “Three principles of Translation” of the famous British theoretical translator Tytler as the theoretical guidance.This report will summarize the characteristics and translation techniques of words,sentences and texts in science and technology translation,and seek more effective translation strategies and methods so as to improve the practical ability of translation.At the same time,in order to ensure the accuracy of translation,in the process of translation,the author looked up a lot of parallel documents related to this field,and used translation tools such as electronic dictionary and paper dictionary to ensure accurate translation of vocabulary,sentences and texts.Through this practice,the author has summarized the problems encountered in the translation,and accumulated the related field translation experience,not only acquired the professional knowledge in this field,but also learned the language characteristics of the scientific English,furthering became familiar with the scientific text and provide an guidance for better translation in the future.
