A Practice Report Of Test Segmentation In Japanese And Chinese Sight Translation

With the deepening international exchanges, international conferences continue to increase, depending on the role of the interpreter translated the increasingly important business negotiations. An excellent sight translation translators not only have superior reading speed and comprehension, but also inseparable from effective means of auxiliary sight translation – test segmentation. Because of the necessity and importance of the test segmentation so I want to study it.Practice of the text of this paper comes from two textbooks of the practice of sight translation, there are some sight translation practice materials from Yahoo NHK News and the authorial practice under lesson. Above-mentioned text is a great challenge for the authorial psychological quality and expertise, these practices make authorial sight translation capability have vastly improved.The methods and content of this paper: First, read the previous research related to test segmentation and summarize their views and opinions. Second, combined with my experience and previous research, summarize the general rules of test segmentation. Third, compare and summarize the Japanese and Chinese sentence element differences. Fourth, according to different sentence structure classified Japanese long sentences. A variety of common long sentences be exampled, sum up the test segmentation skills. Finally, ask the teacher to resolve doubts.This paper concludes is that an effective test segmentation method can improve the efficiency and quality of sight translation, and play a vital role in the successful completion of the sight translation task. I hope this article summarized the test segmentation method can provide reference value for students and translators.
