Analysis On Mistakes In Chinese To Korean Simultaneous Interpretatioc N And Helping Solutions

In the practice of interpretation,integrity,accuracy and fluency are important criteria for assessing interpreters' interpreting performances.Interpretation often leads to mistranslation,missed translation and unsmooth interpretation errors,which not only reduce the quality of the target language,but also affect the communication effect.Therefore,it is important to study how to reduce unnecessary interpretation errors to improve the quality of the target language and improve the sensory effect of the audience.The case is Chinese to Korean simultaneous interpreting of six speeches on China-South Korean Belt and Road Cooperation Seminar,which was held on April 18,2018 in the conference room of Shanghai University North Building.After the interpreting task,the author transcribed and analyzed the recordings,and found that there were many mistranslations,miss of interpretations and disfluencies in the delivery.Among them,misinterpretation is presented in forms of lexical misuse,inappropriate auxiliary words,grammatical use inconsistent with Korean expression and content misinterpretation.Miss of interpreation is mainly divided into two categories: partial information's miss of interpretation and sentences' miss of interpretation.And the disfluency is pause,repetition and speech repair.The author carefully analyzes the reasons for the interpretation errors that occurred during the Chinese-Korean simultaneous interpretation,with a view to finding corresponding solution strategies.The introduction part of this thesis offers the background of the case and the origin of the problem;the second chapter introduces the research on the case and the classification of the interpretation errors in practice,from three aspects of mistranslation,miss of interpretation and disfluency.The problem of the translated language appearing in this simultaneous interpretation is described and analyzed.The third chapter gives the specific solutions to the three types of translation problems which occurred in the interpreting.The author conducts an in-depth analysis of the interpreting errors in this actual Chinese-Korean simultaneous interpretation,and finds the causes of the problems and proposes corresponding solutions.The author aims to sum up the lessons and helps other interpreters to minimize unnecessary wrong output in the Chinese and Korean interpretation.At the same time,the author hopes to provide some empirical materials and references for the related academic research of Chinese to Korean simultaneous interpretation.
