| Vocabulary teaching is one of the hot topics in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.In spoken language teaching,vocabulary is a key factor affecting the teaching process.Especially in the initial stage,the efficiency of vocabulary teaching is not only related to the teacher’s teaching methods and students’ individual learning strategies,but also closely related to the quantity,grade,style,semantics,and new words of the selected words of the teaching materials.Therefore,the analysis and study of the primary word compiling and selection of spoken Chinese teaching materials in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is of great significance both in the guidance of teaching practice and in the enrichment of teaching material theory.The author selects two sets of spoken language textbooks that have a great influence.three volumes of Primary Spoken Chinese published by Peking University Press and two volumes of Development Chinese · Primary Spoken Language published by Beijing Language and Culture University Press.Adopt a combination research methods of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis.Separately count statistical analysis of the vocabulary quantity,level,word class,style,notes,new words and vocabulary exercises and so on in these two sets of textbooks.Then summed up the advantages and problems of two sets of textbooks in terms of word compilation and selection.And on this basis,it proposes improved suggestions for the selection of vocabulary for elementary spoken language teaching materials.This article mainly analyzes the objective situation of vocabulary itself and the vocabulary exercises in two sets of textbooks.Through the analysis of vocabulary objective conditions,that is,vocabulary quantity,grades,parts of speech,genre,notes,and new words,it is found that the vocabulary quantity of Primary Spoken Chinese is higher for students at the primary stage;there are fewer oral vocabulary words in the textbooks.The characteristics of spoken language teaching materials are not well represented;the annotation of words and phrases is too monotonous and the number of new words is too small.Through the study of the vocabulary part exercises,it is found that the vocabulary part of Development Chinese · Primary Spoken Languageis too monotonous and the communicative exercises involved in the vocabulary part of the two sets of books are too few.Finally,based on the results of statistical analysis,this paper puts forward some suggestions for the selection of vocabulary for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.It mainly starts with two aspects of vocabulary commentary and vocabulary practice design. |
