The research history of Shi Tong of Song Dynasty belongs to the category of academic history research.It's main research object is the scholars' comments on Shi Tong's academic viewpoints in Song refers to the Song people's refutation and recognition of the historiographical viewpoints and academic thoughts embodied in Shi Tong.Among them,Zan Ning,Sun He,Zhang Tangying,Song Qi,Wang Shipeng,Chao Gongwu,Zhang Ruyu.They all have most obvious and typical commengts.In the second aspect,the study of the influence of Shi Tong on the historiography of Song Dynasty.The Song dynasty was a developed dynasty of ancient Chinese historiography,and it produced a great deal of history books.It is noteworthy that the historiographies used by scholars of Song Dynasty in his literary history sort out the classification and location differences and changes of Shi Tong in the catalogue of Song Dynasty books,thus constructing the research foundation of the research history of Shi Tong in Song Dynasty.In general,Shi Tong has been recorded in some important official and private catalogues in Song Dynasty,but its records are of varying degrees of detail.In addition,the classification of Shi Tong in the Song Dynasty catalog books is also very inconsistent,such as “Yi wenzhi” of New Book of Tang,"Zhong Xing Guan Ge Shu Mu","Zhi Zhai Shu Lu Jie Ti",etc.All of them put Shi Tong Under the subordinates' "Cultural History" category;in "Chong Wen Zong Mu",Shi Tong is under the "Miscellaneous History" category in the Department of History;in Jun Zhai Du Shu Zhi,Shi Tong was placed in the Zhiji's academic thought on “Ancient doubting and suspicion of classics” and the evaluation of Liu Zhiji's historical ideas.Some scholars also used Shi Tong as a material that quoted in their own works.The contents of these two aspects intersect each other and constitute the main body of the research history of the Shi Tong of Song Dynasty.Among them,the most representative of the viewpoints of Zan Ning,Zhang Tangying,Sun He,Song Qi,Wang Shipeng,Zhang Ruyu.The third chapter: The influence of Shi Tong on the historiography of Song Dynasty.Liu Zhiji not only made a summary of the Chinese historiography of Tang Dynasty and its predecessors through Shi Tong,but also put forward a lot of historiographies on his theory of history.The influence of Shi Tong on the historiography of Song Dynasty was mainly reflected in the historiography of the historiography based on the historiography of Song dynasty.The historiography of Liu Zhiji's advocacy was more or less the same,especially the
