The work-family relationship includes work-family conflict(WFC)and work-family enrichment(WFE).According to the theoretical models,the effect of job factors on work-family relationship is influenced by individual factors.Two studies were included which relate to teachers in universities and colleges.In study one,a self-reported questionnaire survey was conductied to collect data from 124 teachers in order to test the influence of job demands,job resources,supportive supervisor behaviors and indigenous psychological capital on work-family relationship,the results found that 1)the mechanisms of WFC and WFE were different,job demands were positively related to WFC,negatively related to WFE,while job resources were only positively related to WFE and were mediated by indigenous psychological capital;2)family supportive supervisor behaviors were positively related to WFE and were mediated by indigenous psychological capital.In study two,31 teachers were surveyed for 14 consectutice days about family supportive supervisor behaviors,indigenours psychological capital on WFE.The Hierarchical Linear Model was used to test the model and conclusions of study one,the results found that 3)the WFC and WFE,characterized by dynamic variation,were affected by within-subject factors;4)after modification,WFE was mainly mediated by psychological capital of transaction.Two studies test and modify the models of work-family relationship in niversities and colleges,emphasizing the significant role of leadership in work-family relationship.
