Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of economic globalization,political,economic,and cultural exchanges between countries around the world have become more frequent.English,as the most widely used language in the world,plays a decisive role in advancing international communication.It is not only the main medium for international communication but also an important reference standard for selecting talents in society.As an important part of China’s applied talent education institutions,secondary vocational education schools have also become an important front for English teaching in China.According to the suggestions and requirements put forward by the new curriculum reform in our country for English teaching in secondary vocational schools,secondary vocational schools should closely integrate the teaching features of secondary vocational education,take employment as the guide,and proceed from the students’ actual conditions to carry out reforms in English teaching to cultivate English practical level professional talents.At present,there are certain disadvantages in the teaching mode of English in secondary vocational schools,and there are great differences between the goals and the actualities in education.The path and effect of talent cultivation cannot meet the real needs of the state for professional talents.In this context,the author selects “Research on the Employment-oriented Reform of the English Teaching Model for Secondary Vocational Schools” as a research topic,focusing on the existing problems in the current teaching status and teaching model of the secondary vocational English and combining the teaching characteristics of the secondary vocational education to study the reform of the English teaching model for secondary vocational schools aims to cultivate professional talents that meet the standards of national talent requirements.From the specific content point of view,this study consists of the following five parts:The introduction part introduces the research background of this topic.Why should we take the "Employment-Oriented Reform of the English Teaching Model for Secondary Vocational Schools" as the research topic,what is the significance of its research,and what research methods has been specifically adopted,what are the new ideas and deficiencies,Combing domestic and foreign research results to sort out the content of the literature,and then lead to the following.The first chapter elaborates the meaning of employment orientation and the teaching model including the basic understanding of employment orientation,the main meaning of the teaching model,and related theories of employment-oriented English teaching model for secondary vocational schools as well as the theoretical model of vocational English teaching model,and analyzes the main features of English teaching model of the secondary vocational school.The second chapter,under the guidance of a certain theoretical basis,analyzes the current situation of the English teaching mode in secondary vocational schools,specifically analyzes the status quo of English teaching in secondary vocational schools from the perspectives of students,teachers,and teaching in secondary vocational schools,and further analyzes the causes of Vocational School English Teaching problems.The third chapter focuses on the problems existing in English teaching in secondary vocational schools at present stage,and combines the status quo,puts forward the solution that is also the core content of this article-based on employment-oriented construction of three-stage English teaching mode in secondary vocational schools.The author starts with the guiding concept of the three-phase teaching mode,explains how to construct a three-phase teaching model and puts forward specific teaching implementation strategies.In the fourth chapter,the author takes the teaching effect of the English teachers in secondary vocational schools,the learning effect of the secondary vocational students and the employment effect as the evaluation criteria,and explores the effects of the implementation of the three-phase teaching model.And put forward some suggestions for improvement and suggestions for the future.
