Every Frenchman has complex historical feelings in their mind,leading them to recollect the glorious French.The history course in the French national education system is unparalleled with the other countries.Any thinking,including the decision-making,needs a historical perspective,because the history course has become a permanent subject for the implementation of the primary school to the University.The history teaching in France has experienced four stages:the germination of historiography in the early Middle Ages,the specialization of historiography in the middle of the nineteenth Century,the crisis of history in the 70s and 80s of the nineteenth Century and the revival of history since twenty-first Century.The key to revive and develop the education lies in the talents.Higher education plays a decisive role in the melting pot of high quality historiography talents.The undergraduate stage is the main part of the process of higher education,and it is also the only way for the majority of talents to export.Therefore,the undergraduate education has become the center of attention naturally.The French undergraduate teaching of history has its own unique aspects in the division of school system,course setting,teacher allocation,teaching methods and employment evaluation.It pays attention to the language teaching and shows the combination of history and geography in the course setting.The training of talents pays attention to the thick foundation and wide caliber.The teaching method attaches great importance to the renewal of teaching resources and pays attention to the initiative of the students.These features make the history of France full of vitality,and even in the severe situation of employment in the history,graduates can get a higher degree of social recognition.Compared with France,undergraduate education of China has been in the era of brilliant development since the reform and opening up.At the same time,higher education of China,especially the undergraduate education,is facing many challenges due to the constraints of the traditional education model and educational concept.There are so many similarities between China and France,and they has maintained cultural and educational communication in seventeenth Century.As a great power of higher education,France has historically influenced a large number of educators in China.Cai Yuanpei had imitated the reform of the French system to build the university district system.Although the final failure,it promoted the education process in China.It can be seen that the French experience has a guiding and reference to China,and then explains the importance of putting the two countries in the same level and studying and taking it to France.Because of the differences in educational environment and educational ideas between China and France,China still has a great potential in history teaching.It is necessary to draw lessons from French experience,improve curriculum and teaching methods,adjust teaching resources,encourage students' enthusiasm,keep good interaction between teachers and students,and move towards the scientificity and modernization of higher education in history teaching.
