In recent decades,AI has experienced rapid development and is applied to more and more areas. Many well-known technology companies play an important role in the innovation and development of AI,with Google being one of the best.As the biggest developing country,China is learning from Western countries and accelerating its pace of developing AI.It is expected that there will be many Sino-foreign cooperations and exchanges on AI in the future. It is inevitable that interpreters will frequently encounter interpreting tasks concerning this technology. Therefore,it is important to keep up with the latest information of AI's development and master interpreting strategies in this area. This report is a report of simulated simultaneous interpreting based on an interview taken in2017 Google I/O Developer Conference,“Past, present and future of AI”.This report explores challenges in the E-C interpreting, including technical terms, long sentences and high information density, and proposes five strategies and solutions, namely, chunking, anticipation, addition, omission and conversion. This report focuses on the combination of theoretical analysis and practical examples.Under the guidance of the Effort Models raised by Daniel Gile,it discusses the four elements in the process of interpreting and raises five strategies in simultaneous interpreting that interpreters can use in interviews to reduce memory load and stress. Finally, the experience of this interpreting task is summarized. The interpreter still needs to strengthen the accumulation of professional knowledge, reasonably allocate limited energy, and adopt appropriate interpreting strategies to improve the quality of interpreting.
