‘Jam dbyang kun dga' bsod nams grags pa rgyal mtshan dpal bzang po is the22 nd seat of the Sakya Monastery.Because he knows Sanskrit and has the ability to translate Buddhist scriptures,he is known as the Sa skya Lo tsA ba(translator).dKon mchog lhun grub,the 9th seat of E Wam Temple and A myes zhabs ngag dbang kun dga' bsod nams,the 27 th ruler of the Sa skya Monastery,Both of whom write his biographies.The general contents of A myes zhabs' s biography are also found in another of his famous works Sa skya lineage history,both biographies are common biographies.As a disciple of Sa skya translator,dKon mchog lhun grub,in addition to writing about this biogrphy,quoted extensively the descriptions in the “Sa skya Translator's Gsan yig”,and in the classification of Tibetan Buddhist literature.The "gSan yig" can also be regarded as an internal or autobiographical supplement.Therefore,dKon mchog lhun grub's biography can be said to be a biography of the combination of internal and external transmissions.The combination with the “gSan yig” will enable us to understand how Tibetan Buddhism monks practice Buddhism's liberation through swearing dharmas.At the same time,from the description of “gSan yig”,we can see the relationship between the names,orders,and methods of the Sa skya Sect's eminent monks and dharmas.It is also possible to learn about the Sa skya's interpersonal network from the succession system,and to make sure some lesser-known figures can be confirmed.Although A myes zhabs' s is a late new book,but in his biographies,he bluntly stated that he was based on the records of dKon mchog lhun grub.Therefore,this biography did not provide us with new and effective information.In these two biography,A myes zhabs' s is no longer translated because its content is the same as that of the “Sa skya lineage history”,and it has been translated.dKon mchog lhun grub's biography is a broad book.The content of the book was widely quoted from the “gSan yig”.Therefore,in the process of translation,a more detailed commentary was made in conjunction with the “gSan yig” in order to achieve a more profound understanding of Tibetan Buddhism eminent monks' s biography.The Sa skya translator has the name of the translator because of his translation of Buddhist scriptures.In Biography,it gives a more detailed introduction to the situation of learning Sanskrit and the translation of the Buddhist scriptures by the translatorof the Zha lu lo tsA ba Chos ‘byung bzang po.The Sa skya translator inherited the position of Ta'i chings hwa wam(Mahayana's king)in the nine years of Ming Zhengde(1514).Later,he submitted a letter to the Ming government to attack the position of the Ho kya ho wam(The king of auxiliary Buddhism)for his brother.He actively maintain the tributary relationship with the Ming government,All of the Sa skya's internal powers were concentrated to the Lineage of Dus mchog bla brangs.Although the Sa skya translator were invited to sNa thang,Rwa sgreng,Jo mo nang,Thub bstan yangs pa canTemple and other places,Gain the support of monk and layman's chiefs of the gZang.In particular,it maintains close ties with the Rin spungs pa family,who are in a period of prosperity.This series of internal and diplomatic measures has helped the Sakya faction to resurrect.
