The author of this research is an Indonesian,when the author starts to learn Chinese,he found that Chinese language and Indonesian are somehow quite similar.But when the author started to learn Chinese more detailed,he found that it is not as similar as he thought it was.Adverbial is a part of the sentences,Adverbial main purposes are to modify predicate in the sentences.Adverbial existence is to give more information in the sentences,makes it easier for reader or listener to draw a detailed situation about the information that they get.There are many kinds of adverbial even In the Chinese language but through a lot of research,they are able to clearly categorize the adverbials.But unlike Chinese,there are only a few of Indonesian research about adverbials;or rather about syntactic itself.Using the contrastive analysis,we compare both languages,search the similarities and differences.Then,from the Chinese perspective we start organizing Indonesian adverbial.In the first chapter of this research,the author will write about the background of this research.From the reason of why choosing this topic,“adverbial” research status,comparison method,etc.Then,in the second chapter the author will explain the definition of adverb in both languages.Such as what kind of word-class that can became adverb,the position of the adverb,adverb function,and the form of the adverb.In the third chapter the author starts to compare Indonesian and Chinese adverb.From the function of the adverb.Which can de divided to restricted and descriptive adverbial.After that the author will also compare multi adverbial in both language.The fourth chapter will still talk about the same topics as the third one?The author will compare both language adverbial markers;Chinese “?” and Indonesian“dengan” or “secara”?And at last,the fifth chapter will be this research conclusion.
