Abstract: The errors in second language acquisition process may caused by many different reasons. And the influence and effect of the negative transfer of mother tongue on second language acquisition is very huge.When Thai students learning Chinese attributive and adverbial, a lot of errors caused by negative transfer of mother tongue are made. So, teaching Chinese attributive and adverbial towards Thai students become a difficult and key point when Teaching Chinese as a foreign language. This paper is based on The theory of Inter language, Contrastive analysis theory and Error analysis theory. The author presents a comprehensive analysis on Chinese and Thai’s attributive and adverbial from the constituent components, type, relationship with central word, flag words, the position of single attributive and adverbial, and the arrangement of multiple attributive and adverbial. Then analysis the language transfer of the mis-ordering of Chinese attributive and adverbial with way of the Error Analysis, The main content of this article are as follows: Chapter1, the thesis introduces the research’s background and value, and puts forward the theoretical basis and research contents, purpose and method. Chapter2, the author summarize the typical characteristic of Chinese and Thai’s word order. Then comparative analysize the attributive of Chinese and Thai’s comprehensively and thoroughly. The author take the aspect of constituent components, type, relationship with central word, flag words, the position and the arrangement of multiple attributive. Summarize the similarities and difference of attributives between Chinese and Thai’s. Chapter3, The author comparative analysize Chinese and Thai’s adverbial from the angles of constituent components, type, relationship with central word, flag words, the position and the arrangement of multiple adverbial and find out the difference. Chapter4,the author analysis the errors of Chinese attributive and adverbial in materials collected from Thai students with way of the Error Analysis, then conclude the errors ’type, analyze the errors’ reasons, in the last part of chapter4, the author provide some thinking about Chinese attributive and adverbial’s teaching towards Thai students. And then form a short teaching design about Chinese Subject predicate phrase attributive. Chapter5is mainly about the conclusion and deficiency of this thesis.
