“lian X ye/dou Y” is a common format of modern Chinese,scholars have obtained remarkable achievements about its researches.From these achievements,it can be found that scholars' researches are mainly focused on the characteristic of the Chinese word “lian”,the grammatical meaning and pragmatic study of “lian X ye/dou Y” and so on.These researches mainly linger on that of ontological knowledge of “lian X ye/dou Y”,there is little research about its teaching,especially that for Chinese for foreigners.Through looking up Chinese-teaching Syllabus for Overseas Students in Colleges and General Curriculum Syllabus for International Chinese-teaching,it can be found that “lian X ye/dou Y” is an important format which should be mastered in the primary and secondary stages.This article collects Chinese interlanguage corpus of Huazhong Normal University and the error corpus of overseas students in the HSK dynamic corpus of Beijing Language University,then conducts error classification according to syntax,semantics and pragmatics.Thus,it finds that overseas students often have syntax and semantic error,pragmatic error taking the second place in them,when using the format of “lian X ye/dou Y”.While the reasons behind this include language knowledge,culture,textbook and etc.In order to reduce the errors overseas students have when using“lian X ye/dou Y”,teaching and exercises should be designed with target and divided stages.
