| "Lian…Du…" structure is a common sentence pattern in modern C hinese. Most scholars discuss it from three aspects: semantics, syntax and pragmatics. On the basis of previous studies, this paper takes 1387 examples of "Lian…Du…" structure as the corpus which collected from modern Chinese corpus.Based on the theory of magnitude, through the methods of corpus and quantitative analysis, first we select the examples of scale, then analyze and summarize the examples of scale, and discuss the use of them. From the perspective of magnitude, this paper makes a detailed analysis of the structure, then discusses the types and causes of errors, and finally puts forward teaching suggestions from textbook compilation and classroom teaching. The results are as follows: When the structure of "Lian…Du…" represents different types of quantity, its expression function is different. When "Lian" is followed by a noun,a verb or a quantitative structure, its scale is different. When foreign students use this structure, they often make mistakes, such as omission, wrong addition, semantic restriction and improper pragmatics. The main reasons for the errors are negative transfer of mother tongue, generalization of target language, improper use of learning strategies and improper teaching materials.Teaching suggestions included: the compilation of teaching materials should be in accordance with the order from easy to difficult, and the practice should follow the principles of diversity, hierarchy and pertinence;teachers should teach students in accordance with their aptitude, correctly treat students’ errors and combine teaching with practice. It not only provides new ideas and methods for the study of this C hinese structure, but also helps Chinese learners to deepen their understanding of the structure,so as to reduce errors. |
