Vocabulary is one of the three elements of language,and even the most important element.Vocabulary teaching plays an important role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.With the development of economy,politics and education in Rwanda,more and more exchanges with China,and Chinese language has been welcomed.The language and culture of China and Rwanda are quite different.The simple vocabulary teaching method can not only meet the requirements of Rwanda classroom,but also weaken students' interest in learning Chinese.Introducing game pedagogy into elementary Chinese vocabulary teaching helps Rwandan students to maintain interest in learning Chinese,It helps to improve the class participation of Rwandan students,and helps to improve the input and output ratio of the primary stage vocabulary teaching and grasp more vocabulary in a shorter time.The first chapter of this paper mainly introduces the purpose and significance of the study,and introduces the existing research results of Rwanda Chinese vocabulary teaching and game teaching method.The second chapter mainly introduces the scope and characteristics of the vocabulary in the elementary stage of the Chinese language,and introduces the common vocabulary teaching and game teaching methods.The third chapter focuses on the design of game teaching in vocabulary teaching in one of Rwanda junior school,and applies these designs to vocabulary teaching practice.The fourth chapter is about the teaching effect of game teaching.In this chapter reflects the opinions and suggestions for the Rwandan native Chinese teachers,Chinese teachers of Chinese language.With the teachers and students feedback,summarize the areas that need improvement.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,summarizes the full text,and puts forward his own views on the game teaching method in the vocabulary teaching.
