Countries all over the world realize the importance of learning Chinese and more and more overseas students start to learn Chinese as China’s social and economic development continues and its international status increases.However,many beginner Chinese learners easily feel "difficult to learn Chinese" when learning Chinese for it is not easy for most learners.The teaching method contains a variety of learning strategies,which greatly improves the interest in learning.The game itself makes use of people’s playful mentality and the characteristics of the game itself to attract attention,which is helpful for learners to form correct learning methods and good learning habits.Taking the Chinese teaching classroom in the junior class of Girada Vocational and Technical College as the research source,this paper mainly adopts the literature method,questionnaire method,and interview method related to the game teaching method by previous authors,and employs the method of classroom observation as well as the method of practical effect feedback to study the practical application effect of the game teaching method in the Thai Chinese vocabulary classroom.This paper consists of five parts.The first part mainly elaborates the background of the selected topic,the significance and purpose of the selected topic,the current research status of game teaching at home and abroad,and describes the significance of this paper and the research method adopted.The second part introduces the connotation and characteristics of game teaching method,and the theoretical basis of game teaching method.The third part mainly uses HSK2 vocabulary into the game teaching method,and makes a detailed experimental effect analysis for the feedback of the game.The fourth part uses questionnaires from students and teachers to understand their views and attitudes towards the game teaching method and to give their opinionsThe fifth part is the concluding part in which the advantages of the game teaching method in teaching elementary vocabulary are analyzed.
