Li Jigu is a famous historian of our country.He has not only made fruitful achievements in the history of schools in historiography,western history,and national history,but also personally participated in teaching history.He has accumulated rich experience in teaching history,and has put forward many valuable opinions on the reform of history education.Study on Li Jigu' s thought of history education can not only improve the research of him,and reveal the historical position of Li Jigu,but also review the development of China in the modern history education and provide the reference for the current reform of history education.This article is based on the development and evolution of modern history education and the practice of Li Jigu' s history education.It aims at systematically exploring the connotation,characteristics and significance of Li Jigu's historical thought.The full text consists of three parts,which are the introduction,the text and the conclusion.The main contents of each part are as follows:First of all,the first part is about the research of general significance,the academic research on the subject of the research situation,the main ideas and research methods,the research value to the academic fields,and the innovation and the inadequacies of this article.Secondly,the second part of the article will be divided into three chapters to summarize its ideological content.The first chapter,combined with Li Jigu's own experience,tells the reasons for the formation of his historical educational thoughts.The second chapter summarizes the specific contents of Li Jigu' s historical education thoughts from four aspects:historical education function,history textbook,history teaching method and historical learning method.The third chapter mainly analyzes the positive significance and limitations of Li Jigu's historical education thought on the reform of the present historical education.The last part of the conclusion is a summary of the full text.As a member of the historical educators in the period of the Republic of China,Li Jigu made great contributions to the history education,which not only influenced the historical education at that time,but also had a profound influence on the twenty-first Century.
