Study On How The Social Thoughts Of Nationalism Affect All Previous Climax Of The Student Movements In Fujian Republic Of China

The period of the Republic of China is an important one which means China’s transition from modern society to contemporary society, and it is also a vital period when China got rid of semi-feudal society and then moved toward independent nation. In this process, with a great deal of cultural relic and the deepening of foreign imperialist colonial aggression, social ideological trend of nationalism became popular and pushed forward the development of whole Chinese society. The effect of the ideological trend was most obvious to the student group. The paper selects Fujian student movements-which were affected by social ideological trend of nationalism-as a research point. By in-depth study of the influence of social ideological trend on the student movements in terms of ideological area, this paper is supposed to be the first Dissertation in the country which explores the development of the student movements in Fujian from the point of mutual relationship between social ideological trend of nationalism and student movements, and it opened up a new perspective of the research of the student movements in the period of the Republic of China.The paper is divided into five chapters, respectively expounding the rise and the development of nationalism trend in modern times, and the interaction with student movements in chronological order. Consequently, the research shows the magnificent history of the student movement in Fujian in multidimensional way, which is a true reflection of the characteristics and impact of the student movements in Fujian. By investigating the spread of the social ideological trend of nationalism in Fujian and restoring the climax of all previous student movements affected by social ideological trend of nationalism, it is helpful for us to grasp the law of development of the ideological trends, to actively guide the development of young students’thinking, and to make new contributions for Hercynian construction, national reunification and the development of Fujian’s economy and society.
