This article focuses on the study of the initials of zero-based Chinese learners. The example is the Confucius Institute at North South University of Bangladesh. This article summarizes the status of initial bias in Chinese language and combines current pronunciation bias with the study of the trend of nationalization, and selects zero-based students from the Confucius Institute at South-North University as research objects. In view of the different learning situations of students, the author and her colleague Luo Duoduo jointly designed and completed the student situation questionnaire, and conducted basic statistics on the students who participated in the speech test. The tested subjects are all zero-based Chinese learners. The consonant survey content is mainly about lesson one to lesson eight selected from the "Introduction to Basic Chinese Experience".The method of initial consonance investigation is divided into the recording of consonants and the recording of words.By analyzing and summarizing the data of student surveys,it comes to the conclusion that the source of the students and their motivations for learning are not the same. The author uses the auditory analysis method to identify the students’ errors in the initial consonant learning.Through the quantitative analysis method, the data collected is quantitatively analyzed.Through investigations,zero-basic students in Bangladesh make various biases in their initials, apart from the bilabial sounds b,p,and n.The author analyzes the causes of errors from the aspects of the negative transfer of mother tongue, the generalization of the knowledge of the target language and the student’s own academic ability.Based on the causes of the errors, the teachers and textbooks, students’ learning methods, and classroom settings are targeted to propose corresponding strategies for initial teaching. The author hopes to put forward some practical teaching strategies by analyzing the errors in the learning biases of zero-based students in Bangladesh,so as to provide some reference materials for future Chinese teachers. |
