The Investigation And Research On The Available Domains Of Characteristic Words Of Biiie Dialect

With the rise of dialectology,pronunciation has been intensively research by researchers because of its significance.However,it is lack of the study of vocabulary and grammar.But the vocabulary system is the largest and fastest updating language system.We can explore the trajectory of language evolution directly from the lexical system.So its importance cannot be ignored.Bijie dialect belongs to the area of Guizhou and Sichuan dialect,which is the representative of dialect in Northwest Guizhou and plays a very important role in the system of Chinese dialects in Guizhou.In the past,the study of Bijie dialect is mainly focused on two aspects that are the formation of vocabulary and the analysis of place names.This paper puts forward the concept of "Bijie dialect characteristic words" for the first time,that is,it is based on the twenty-nine items on "Chinese Dialect Words for Research",comparing to the previous studies.In this paper,we adopt the research methods of Sociolinguistics.Base on the available domains and language attitude of Bijie dialect is to describes the present situation and the internal differences of the characteristic words in Bijie dialect by selecting gender,age,education,occupation and region.Starting with the language attitude,the main reasons for these differences are explored.The study has nosed out the internal differences,which men are better than women,the middle-aged people and the old people are better than the young people,the low level of education are better than the high level of education,the city is better than the rural,teachers and farmers are better than other occupations on the characteristics words of Bijie dialect.In addition,the available domains of some words is not limited to social factors.In terms of language attitude,the majority of different social groups have positive evaluation of Bijie dialect and the Mandarin.But there are also some internal differences.At the same time,the importance and the influence of the Mandarin is gradually increasingCharacteristic words of Bijie are the epitome of Bijie dialect and the most characteristic words of Bijie.Through the investigation and analysis,we can get the evolution of Bijie dialect,so as to forecast the development direction of Bijie dialect.
