Abstract/Summary:
China is a country with vast territory,abundant resources,and national prosperity.Moreover,it is rich in traditional culture with a long history.As one of the important part of Chinese traditional music culture,Lingnan traditional music possesses a very high value in music culture teaching because it has long history,profound cultural accumulation and rich music reserves.Lingnan traditional music culture education in colleges and universities is an important way to advance the development of Lingnan traditional music culture,for it not only can enhance students’ understanding of Lingnan traditional music,but also strengthen its dissemination and developmental direction to some extent.With the rapid development of economy and culture in Guangzhou,the inheritance of Lingnan traditional music in colleges and universities is also more diversified and innovative in the forms.Therefore,the paper through observe the phenomena of the traditional music education activities of three universities in Guangzhou to analyze the teaching current situation of Lingnan traditional music education,which has a certain practical significance for prompting the inheritance of Lingnan traditional music in universities.Based on the above background,with three universities as investigation objects in Guangzhou,the paper adopted the qualitative research and quantitative research methods to discuss the following contents:The first part is the investigation on the present situation of the implementation of the traditional music education of Lingnan in three universities in Guangzhou.Having utilized the methods of questionnaire investigation,observation,and interview,the paper aim at discusses the overall implementation of Lingnan music education in the three universities in Guangzhou.Meanwhile,through in-depth understand the structural composition of teaching faculty and teaching target of Lingnan traditionalmusic education,and from its teaching contents,resources,activities,and the construction of teaching material to examine its teaching achievements and other various aspects.The second part is to analyze the teaching status of Lingnan traditional music education in the three universities in Guangzhou.It mainly based on the existing teaching achievements to analyze its current developmental situation and advantages,which reveals the practical function and value of Lingnan traditional music education in the music education of colleges and universities.Then from another point of view to analyzes the existing problems of Lingnan music education.According to the investigation and analysis,the third part summarized the respective characteristics of Lingnan traditional music education in the three universities.In addition,puts forward relevant ideas and proposals in line with the teaching effect of Lingnan traditional music in colleges and universities,and adapted to the music educational curriculum objectives.It aims to make Lingnan traditional music education in colleges and universities abide by the principle of “inherit the local culture and service for students in colleges and universities",thus effectively promote the development of Lingnan traditional music culture in music education in colleges and universities.
