Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Carotid Atherosclerosis With Gualou Bai Ban Xia Decoction Combined With Xuezhikang

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Gualoubai Banxia Decoction combined with Xuezhikang intervention in patients with carotid atherosclerosis.Explore new Chinese medicine treatment options for carotid atherosclerosis.To lay the foundation for the application of this treatment to the application of systemic atherosclerosis.METHODS:This study used a randomized controlled study method to consecutively enroll the carotid artery of Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine,Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,from March 1,2018 to December 31,2018,according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria established by the Institute.There were 180 cases of atherosclerosis,and 120 cases were selected according to the inclusion criteria and the data were complete.They were randomly divided into Chinese medicine treatment group,Chinese medicine control group and western medicine treatment group.Data were collected,including general patient status,test indicators,carotid ultrasound,and TCM syndrome scores.Data analysis was performed using SPSS20 software.Results:(1)In the distribution of TCM syndrome types of carotid atherosclerosis,the proportion of phlegm and blood stasis type is larger;(2)From the perspective of syndrome effect,the total effective rate of Chinese medicine treatment group is 85.7%,and there is always a Chinese medicine control group.The efficiency was 64.9%,and the total effective rate of the western medicine control group was 51.5%.The difference of the syndrome efficacy was statistically significant(P=0.001<0.05).The overall efficiency is different,and the clinical efficacy of the Chinese medicine treatment group is more obvious.(3)Syndrome scores:the comparison between the three groups before and after treatment(P<0.05)and the comparison between the three groups(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant,indicating that the three groups were better after treatment.Compared with the traditional Chinese medicine control group and the western medicine control group,the Chinese medicine treatment group was better than the treatment.(4)The symptom scores of the three groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the symptoms were improved compared with before treatment;the comparison between groups,dizziness,sticky in the mouth,abdominal fullness,fatigue,dark red or both There was a statistically significant difference in the scores of sputum,greasy,slippery,sputum or string slip(P<0.05),especially in dizziness,sticky in the mouth,abdominal fullness,dark red or combined with significant points.<0.01),suggesting that the Chinese medicine treatment group is superior to the traditional Chinese medicine control group and the western medicine control group in improving symptoms such as dizziness,sticky mouth and abdominal fullness.(5)Blood lipids:TC,TG,LDL-C were significantly decreased(P<0.05),HDL-C was significantly increased(P<0.05),there was no significant difference(P>0.05),hs-CRP was better than before treatment.It was significantly lower(P<0.05)and the Chinese medicine treatment group was superior to the Chinese medicine control group and the western medicine control group.(6)Analysis:After 3 months of treatment of carotid IMT,the carotid IMT decreased slightly,but the effect was not obvious(P>0.05,no statistical difference);the maximum area of the soft plaque was reduced.The Chinese medicine control group and the western medicine control group had no significant effect before and after treatment(P>0.05,no statistical difference),while the Chinese medicine treatment group had an effect,but it only reached the initial P<0.05.Conclusion:Gualoubai Banxia Decoction combined with Xuezhikang can effectively improve the plaque stability of CAS and has significant curative effect on lowering blood lipid and hs-CRP levels.It can also effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients,especially in improving dizziness,sticky,fatigue and anorexia symptoms in the mouth than in the Chinese medicine control group and the western medicine control group.The overall efficacy of the disease and the efficacy of TCM syndromes were better than the control group,and there was no obvious adverse reaction during the study.It is indicated that Gualoubai Banxia Decoction combined with red yeast rice is an effective method for the treatment of carotid atherosclerosis,and it has certain clinical application value.
