Objective: To compare and observe the clinical efficacy of Xuantong Pingchuan Decoction combined with aerosol inhalation and simple aerosol inhalation in the treatment of children with attack asthma(syndrome type of external cold and internal heat),so as to provide clinical research basis for the rational application of Xuantong Pingchuan Decoction.Methods: From September 2018 to January 2019,60 children aged 6-12 years old with mild to moderate acute attack of asthma(syndrome type of external cold and internal heat)were selected from the pediatric asthma clinic of Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine,affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.They were randomly divided into treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases).The control group was given oxygen atomization inhalation salbutamol sulfate solution combined with budesonide suspension twice a day,and the treatment group was given Xuantong Pingchuan Prescription twice a day on the basis of the control group.On the 3rd and 7th day of treatment,the severity grade of acute stage was evaluated,and the symptoms,signs,exhaled nitric oxide value and pulmonary function were observed to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Xuantong Pingchuan Decoction.Results:1.After treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes(including the total score of main symptoms,secondary symptoms and total score)in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment,while those in the treatment group decreased significantly compared with those in the control group.In terms of single symptoms,the scores of cough,sputum,nasal obstruction,runny nose and sneeze in the treatment group decreased significantly compared with those in the control group,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).After treatment,the fractional exhaled nitric oxide(Fe NO)in both groups decreased compared with that before treatment.The median value of decline in the treatment group was 18.50 ppb,while that in the control group was 13.00 ppb.The degree of decline in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).After treatment,the FEV1,FEV1%,FEV1/FVC in both groups higher compared with that before treatment.The median value of rise of FEV1,FEV1%FEV1/FVC in the treatment group were 0.14 L,8.45% and 9.50% respectively,while those in the control group were 0.06 L,3.50% and 2.65% respectively.The increase of FEV1,FEV1% and FEV1/FVC in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).The treatment group had advantages over the control group in improving symptoms,signs,severity of illness,exhaled nitric oxide value and pulmonary function.2.After treatment,in the treatment group,3 cases were cured,26 cases were markedly effective,0 cases were improved,1 case was ineffective,the total effective rate was 96.67%.In the control group,0 cases were cured,17 cases were markedly effective,11 cases were improved,2 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 93.33%.Statistical analysis showed that the clinical effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).Conclution: 1.Xuantong Pingchuan Decoction combined with aerosol inhalation therapy can significantly improve asthma symptoms,improve the severity of asthma,alleviate non-specific inflammation of airway,and partly improve pulmonary ventilation function compared with simple aerosol inhalation therapy.Xuantong Pingchuan Decoction is an effective adjuvant therapy for attack asthma in children.2.Xuantong Pingchuan Decoction combined with aerosol inhalation therapy can significantly improve nasal symptoms such as nasal obstruction,runny nose and sneezing in children with asthma compared with simple aerosol inhalation therapy.Xuantong Pingchuan Decoction is an effective prescription to embody the coherence of lung and nose and treat the whole airway. |
