BackgroundFrailty phenotype on the elderly patients in outpatient clinic aged ?65 years old was done to obtain the demographics of frailty status and to gather four diagnostic methods information.On the basis of questionnaire investigating,by the factor analysis,the study investigate TCM symptoms characteristics with frailty status,which provided more basis for TCM intervention in clinical frailty syndrome.MethodsFrom February 2019 to January 2020,154 outpatients in the the first affiliated hospital of Tianjin University of traditional Chinese Medicine were selected in the study.Using the Fried debilitating assessment scale to evaluate the elderly patients in the outpatient clinic,the patients who met the pre-frailty and frailty diagnosis were selected,and their general personal information(including name,sex,age,height,weight,nationality,social support,grip strength,walking time,history of past diseases,medication,etc.),TCM four-diagnosis data were collected.Input data through Excel,and the common TCM syndrome types of frailty syndrome can be obtained by cluster analysis and factor analysis of the information collected by using SPSS25.0.Results1.Among the 154 patients with frailty syndrome,33.1% of them are male and 66.9% of them are female;,the number of female is more than the male.About the age composition,65 is the youngest and 94 is the oldest,with most of people aged 70-79,accounting for 43.51%of the total.the current status of residence shows that the number of people living with spouses is the highest,55% of the total study cases,followed by children;among the patients with frailty syndrome,the most chronic diseases are hypertension,diabetes,arrhythmia,chronic gastritis,coronary heart disease,hyperlipidemia,constipation and osteoporosis,etc.2.The common clinical symptoms of debilitating syndrome include fatigue,dizziness,clear stool,palpitations,shortness of breath,yellow stool,insomnia,low appetite,pale complexion,dry stool knot,abdominal distension,sore waist and knee,loose stools,tinnitus,weak limbs,weak limbs,weak limbs,dry mouth,numb limbs,low breath,low hearing loss,dreaminess,vision loss,frequent urination,pale white face,pale self-sweating,upset,cold,constipation,flushed complexion,dry skin,sore eyes,sore mouth,weak mouth,weak veins,weak mouth,weak mouth and mouth pulse,and mouth pulse.The appearance frequency higher tongue image is tongue light,tongue red,tongue purple dark,tongue less Jin,fur white,fur thin,less fur.3.Concluded the main syndromes of frailty syndrome are Yin deficiency and Qi deficiency.The main disease location is in heart,spleen,liver and kidney.Finally,the common syndromes of frailty syndrome are: syndrome of hyperactivity of fire due to Yin deficiency,spleen and kidney Qi deficiency syndrome,Qi deficiency blood stasis syndrome,heart and kidney Yang deficiency syndrome,heart blood deficiency and liver and kidney Yin deficiency syndrome.Conclusions1.The prevalence of frailty syndrome is higher in women than in men.Cohabitation with a spouse is the main way of living in the elderly with debilitating,followed by living with their children.Hypertension,diabetes,arrhythmia,chronic gastritis,coronary heart disease,hyperlipidemia,constipation and osteoporosis are the debilitating syndrome patients with more chronic diseases.2.Frailty syndrome is mainly related to heart,kidney,liver and spleen.Deficiency syndrome is the main disease.Qi deficiency and Yin deficiency are the main diseases.3.Through factor analysis,the common TCM syndrome types of frailty syndrome include: syndrome of hyperactivity of fire due to Yin deficiency,spleen and kidney Qi deficiency syndrome,Qi deficiency blood stasis syndrome,heart and kidney Yang deficiency syndrome,heart blood deficiency and liver and kidney Yin deficiency syndrome.
