In recent years,High Dynamic Range(HDR)and Wide Color Gamut(WCG)technologies have been developed rapidly and have attracted widespread attention.The study aimed to obtain high-quality human visual data for HDR and WCG through psychophysical experiments and then evaluated and optimized existing color vision models,and finally produced data that could be widely used to build uniform color space and color difference formulas for high dynamic range and wide color gamut standards.The hue linearity experiment used two different methods to evaluate the hue linearity performance of uniform color spaces.The results showed that IPT color space had the best performance in hue linearity.Jzazbz's performance ranked the second,and it performed well in gray convergence.Meanwhile,the hue lines of existing uniform color spaces could not converge to the origin and could be developed.HDR correction factor(c)proposed in the color difference discrimination experiment could be used to extend the existing uniform color spaces and color difference formula to HDR applications.In the original models testing,CAM02-UCS performed the best.HDR correction factor(c),power factor(?)and lightness factor(KL)could improved significantly the prediction performance of all models.The color discrimination experiment studied the variation of human vision color difference discrimination in the wide color gamut.The experimental results showed that CAM02-UCS is significantly better than the other uniform color spaces in terms of global uniformity and local uniformity;Jzazbz and ICTCP perform much similarly.Based on the above research results,with the application of high dynamic range and wide color gamut display technology,the study provided a large amount of data support for the study of uniform color space and color difference formula and contributed to the hue linearity,spatial uniformity and gray convergence.
