Objective To understand the status quo of social anxiety,social avoidance and distress,emotional intelligence and general well-being of nursing students in internship period(hereinafter referred to as internship nursing students);To analyze the influencing factors of social anxiety in internship nursing students and their relationship with social avoidance and distress,emotional intelligence and general well-being;On this basis,the intervention effect of group counseling activities based on cognitive behavioral therapy aimed at improving the comprehensive quality of clinical nursing teaching on social anxiety of internship nursing students in practice was investigated.Methods This study is divided into two stages.The first stage:A convenient sampling method was used to select 235 internship nursing students who were practicing in a thrid-class general hospital in Taizhou from April to October in 2019 for questionnaire survey,the questionnaire survey to 235 cases investigation tool includes general information questionnaire,interaction anxiousness scale(IAS),social avoidance and distress scale(SAD),emotional intelligence scale(EIS)and general well-being scale(GWB),the data obtained is analyzed and processed by SPSS23.0;The second stage:According to the investigation results of the first stage,among the internship nursing students whose social anxiety score was ?39(higher than the norm of college students in China),60 internship nursing students were selected by the principle of voluntary principle,and were divided into the control group(31 people)and the experimental group(29 people).The control group was given including interns business learning,and assessment of the regular practice of teaching,on the basis of routine teaching the experimental group participated in eight cognitive behavioral group counseling,before the group counseling starts,at the end of the group counseling,and three months after the group counseling,through the questionnaire survey to assess the social anxiety level,emotional intelligence and general well-being of the internship nursing students in the two group.The obtained data were analyzed and processed by SPSS 23.0 to evaluate the actual and long-term effects of cognitivebehavioral group counseling intervention on social anxiety in internship nursing students.Results 1.The score of social anxiety of internship nursing students was(40.76±5.99)points,higher than that of Chinese college students.The total score of SAD was(11.09±3.28)points,in which the score of social avoidance factor was(5.54±1.90)points and the score of social distress factor was(5.55±1.79)points.The total score of emotional intelligence was(3.43±0.27)points.The general well-being was(101.37±7.70)points.2.The results of single factor analysis showed that the scores of social anxiety in internship nursing students with different education backgrounds and living expenses were statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The correlation analysis results showed that social anxiety was significantly positively correlated with the total score of SAD,social avoidance factor and social distress factor(r=0.606,0.519,0.556,P<0.01).There was a negative correlation between emotional intelligence and social anxiety(r=-0.557,P<0.01).Social anxiety was negatively correlated with general well-being(r=-0.340,P<0.01).4.Taking social anxiety as the dependent variable,the regression analysis shows that the monthly living cost level,total emotional intelligence level,SAD,general well-being,emotional perception and emotional regulation of the internship nursing students enter the regression equation,which can explain 57.1% of the total variation of social anxiety.According to the same method,social anxiety,internship nursing students' educational background and internship nursing students' willingness to engage in nursing could explain 15.2% of the total variation of general well-being.5.At the time of intervention is finished and three months after the end of the intervention,compared with before intervention,the experimental group internship nursing students' social anxiety,SAD total score and social avoidance factor and social distress factor were all lower than that of control group(P<0.05),emotional intelligence scores,self-regulation of emotions,regulation of other' emotions,the use of emotions and general well-being were higher than that of control group(P<0.05);The results of paired t test showed that,according to the results of the experimentalgroup,at the end of the intervention and 3 months after intervention is completed,the social anxiety,SAD total score,social avoidance factor and social distress factor score significantly decreased(P<0.05),emotional intelligence scores,self-regulation of emotions,regulation of other' emotions,the use of emotions and general well-being increased significantly,compared with before(P<0.05),The difference was not significant in the control group(P>0.05).;According to repeated measurement analysis of variance of three time points of internship nursing students in the two groups,social anxiety,SAD total score,social avoidance factor,social distress factor,emotional intelligence and its four dimensions as well as general well-being of the two groups had interactive effects(P<0.05).Conclusions 1.Social anxiety,social avoidance and social distress of internship nursing students are at a high level.The students' emotional intelligence and general well-being were in the middle level.2.Education background and monthly living expenses are the main influencing factors of social anxiety in internship nursing students;Emotional intelligence and its four dimensions have a negative predictive effect on social anxiety,and social anxiety has a negative predictive effect on general well-being of internship nursing students.3.Guided by the theory of cognitive behavior group counseling can significantly relieve internship nursing students' social anxiety,maintenance internship nursing students' physical and mental health,improve the level of emotional intelligence and general well-being of internship nursing students,it is also helpful for internship nursing students to form good interpersonal relationship during the internship,for clinical nursing educators to carry out the internship nursing students mental health education,it provides a theoretical basis for improving the comprehensive quality of clinical nursing teaching.
