The Therapeutic Effect Of GuCixiao Cataplasm Combined With Four-step Massage On Periarthritis Of Shoulder

Objective : Demonstrate the curative effect of GuCiXiao cataplasm combined with four-step massage in the treatment of shoulder periarthritis.To provide a scientific theoretical basis for the clinical application of GuCiXiao cataplasm combined with four-step massage in the treatment of shoulder periarthritis and explore a new treatment scheme for shoulder periarthritis.Methods: From December 2017 to June 2019,90 patients with periarthritis of shoulder in orthopedic department of Gansu Provincial Hospital of TCM were selected.The patients were divided into three groupsA,B and C by random number table method according to their visiting serial number,with 30 cases in each group.Group A was given GuCiXiao cataplasm combined with four-step massage,group B was given QiZhengXiaoTong Plaster and four-step massage,and group C was given QiZhengXiaoTong Plaster,and for four weeks as a course of treatment.Statistical the pain visual analogue scale(VAS)and Constant-Murley score(CMS)of patients before treatment,2 weeks later and 4 weeks later,and the data of the above groups were statistically analyzed to draw relevant conclusions.Results: 1.A total of 90 subjects were included in this study,which were divided into three groups:A,B and C,with 30 cases each.There were no dropouts and rejected cases during the study,and a total of 90 cases were completed.Before treatment,there were no significant differences in gender,age,location,VAS score and CMS score among the three groups(P>0.05),and the three groups were comparable.2.The VAS scores of the three groups before treatment,2 weeks later and 4 weeks later were compared:After treatmen,the three groups were compared within the group,and compared with the VAS score before treatment,the three groups had statistical significance(P<0.05);There was no significant difference between the two groups at the same time point before treatment and 2 weeks after treatment(P>0.05);The difference between group A and group B after 4 weeks of treatment was no significant(P<0.05),and there was statistically significant difference between group A and group C,group B and group C(P>0.05).3.The CMS scores of the three groups before treatment,2 weeks later and 4 weeks laterwere compared:After treatment,the three groups were compared within the group,and compared with the CMS score before treatment,the three groups had statistical significance(P<0.05),After 2 weeks of treatment,there were significant differences between group A and group B,and group A and group C(P<0.05),There was no significant difference between group B and group C(P>0.05);After 4 weeks of treatment,there were significant differences between group A and B,group A and group C and group B and group C(P<0.05).4.After treatment,the effective rates of the three groups were compared:In group A,8cases were cured,18 cases were markedly effective,4 cases were effective,the effective rate was 100%;In group B,2 cases were cured,19 cases were markedly effective,8 cases were effective and 1 case was ineffective,the effective rate was 96.7%;In group C,1 case was cured,9 cases were effective,17 cases were effective,3 cases were ineffective,the effective rate was 90%,The difference between the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)by Rank Sum Test.Conclusion: The treatment of GuCiXiao cataplasm combined with four-step massage has significant effects on shoulder pain and shoulder joint function in patients with periarthritis of shoulder.It can obviously improve the clinical symptoms and signs of patients,improve the quality of life of patients,and have satisfactory curative effect.It is an effective and targeted comprehensive therapy to promote the recovery of shoulder periarthritis.It has simple and convenient clinical operation,small trauma,and has high clinical application value and high popularization value.
