Objective:The study is to observe clinical therapeutic efficacy on periarthritis of shoulder when it is treated by the massage techniques combined with rehabilitation treatment. Methods:The study adopts uniform diagnosis and treatment standards of periarthritis of shouder, using shoulder pain, shoulder joint activities and ADL assessment standards as observing targets and applying SPSS statistical analysis software for data processing. In this study 60 patients of frozen shoulder were divided into treatment group (massage and rehabilitation techniques combined), massage group and rehabilitation techniques group based on randomized block design, with 20 cases each for the control treatment.Results:(1) The cured and markedly effective rate of the treatment group (90%) was greatly higher than that of the massage group (60%, P<0.05) and the rehabilitation techniques group (55%, P<0.05).(2) Treatment group's average course of the marked treatment was 12.94 days, significantly shorter than massage group (15.92 days, P<0.01) and the rehabilitation techniques group (17.18 days, P<0.01).(3)The general score and shoulder pain, joint activities, ADL ability score of the three groups after treatment all increased. The treatment group obtained the highest score and there were significant differences between the treatment and the other two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion:The comprehensive application of massage techniques and rehabilitation techniques of treatment can significantly improve the cured and markedly effective rate of frozen shoulder, shorten the course of treatment, relieve pain and improve shoulder joint function and ADL capacity. It is better to use both of them than the application of massage or rehabilitation techniques merely and worth popularizing and further exploring.
