In recent years,with the deepened reform of Chinese healthcare industry and the continuous development of the medical market,the competition in Chinese medical market is becoming increasingly fierce.Under the circumstance that the state has been continuously encouraging the development of private hospitals,private hospitals are rapidly established,and seize the market.Most of them have the characteristics of abundant funds and advanced management.They actively compete for talent in public hospitals.The biggest "bottleneck" in the development of public hospitals is the serious brain drain.In addition,the promotion of multi-site practice policy for Chinese doctors,and the reformation of Chinese governmental pension system,increase the trend of talent drains from public hospitals to private hospitals.Private hospitals have many obvious advantages over public hospitals in the competition for talents.As a result,many excellent talents in public hospitals have been lost because of the strong temptation of private hospitals.Shanxi X hospital is also facing a growing problem of brain drain.The brain drain will not only reduce the quality of public services in public hospitals,hinder the construction of talent echelon and so on,but also negatively affect the normal and orderly operation of the hospital,thus causing a huge loss to hospitals.Therefore,the important means for public hospitals represented by X hospital to provide better public services and to grow stronger in the competition is to study the causes of brain drain and take measures to prevent brain drain in public hospitals.The research content of this thesis mainly includes four parts.The first part is "general overview of brain drain in public hospitals",which introduces the connotation and theoretical basis of brain drain in public hospitals.The second part is "analysis of the current situation of brain drain in X hospital".Firstly,the main subjects of brain drain in X hospital--high-level talents,talents outside the system,and young and middle-aged talents are analyzed.Secondly,the characteristics of brain drain in X hospital in recent five years are summarized.Next,the negative impacts of brain drain on the development of X hospital are summarized.The third part is "analysis of the causes of brain drain in X hospital".According to The results of a questionnaire on job satisfaction,and the records of telephone interviews with lost employees,the reasons for the brain drain in X hospital are summarized,which are mainly the lack of competitiveness in salary,the weak cohesion of hospital culture,and so on.The fourth part points out "strategies to prevent brain drain in public hospitals".Strategies such as establishing a reasonable salary system and strengthening the management of career planning of employees can curb the brain drain of public hospitals,and provide references for other public hospitals.
