Objective: To investigate the prevalence and correlation of overweight,obesity and hypertension among preschool children in central Shanghai,in order to provide evidence for relevant intervention measures.Methods:1.A total of 3608 preschool children aged 3~7 who took physical examination in kindergartens in Shanghai jing 'an district in 2017 were selected as participants in this study.2.Gender,age,height,weight,blood pressure and other indicators of preschool children were collected.3.Overweight,obesity and hypertension were defined with the reference of World Health Organization child growth standards and blood pressure reference standard of children and adolescent in china.4.Data were analyzed by SPSS 24.0.Results:1.The overall rate of overweight and obesity of 3 to 7-year-old preschool children in Shanghai jing 'an district was 18.5%,the overweight detection rate was 9.3%(male10.1%,female 8.5%),the obesity detection rate was 9.2%(male 12.9%,female5.3%),the hypertension detection rate was 1.5%(male 2.1%,female 0.9%).2.Overweight,obesity and male were risk factors for hypertension in preschool children,and the risk of hypertension was significantly higher in overweight and obese children than children with normal weight(OR 8.228,95%CI 4.606~14.697).Conclusion:As important risk factors for the occurrence of hypertension,overweight and obesity in preschool children present a growing trend,therefore,controlling the growth of body mass index from the early school age is one of the key measures to prevent hypertension,prevention of related chronic diseases should be carried out early in preschool children.
