BackgroundWith the continuous development of social economy and the improvement and transformation of people's living standards and methods,the incidence of overweight and obesity in children is increasing rapidly.According to the statistics,over 155 million children in the world are overweight or in obesity condition.The increasingly development of overweight and obesity in children is obviously not optimistic.Early intervention and prevention measures are imminent.If no intervention is taken,the incidence of obesity among children aged 0?7 will reach 4.8%in 2020,and it will increase to 6%by 2030.ObjectiveTo understand the prevalence of overweight and obesity among 0-6 year old children in Chaoyang District,Beijing,and to explore the related factors in order to provide theoretical support for further development of children's overweight and obesity in kindergartens and maternal and child health care.MethodsAccording to the method of stratified cluster random sampling,5 kindergartens were selected to distribute self-designed questionnaires to children's parents.The questionnaire included five modules:basic information of children,information of pregnancy,daily life of children,parents' cognition and illness of respiratory system diseases.The Epidata database was used to record data,and SPSS 21 was used to deal with the factors of overweight and obesity in children.The multiple factors analysis of the factors affecting overweight and obesity in children was analyzed by Logistic regression.ResultsAmong the 1327 children surveyed,obesity and overweight children accounted for 10.10%and 6.5%,respectively.Among the 115 obese children,68 were boys(59.13%),47(40.87%)for girls,42(36.52%)under 5 years of age,73(63.48%)in the age group over 5 years old.Single factor X test found that children's sex(OR=0.671),age(OR-0.490),production mode(OR=0.647),mother's BMI(OR=1.288),sleeping length(OR =1.069),frequent drinking sugar drinks(OR=0.317),eating speed(ORF=1.780),and parents' fertility for children fat recognition(OR=18.869)is a factor that influences overweight and obesity in children ConclusionsThe prevalence of overweight and obesity in preschool children in Chaoyang District of Beijing is at a high level,and the main factors affecting the obesity are cesarean section,sleep over 23:00 often,frequent drinking of sugar drinks,high frequency of fast food and fast eating speed,and the correct cognitive attitude of parents to children's obesity is the protective factors of degree of weight.
