Objective: Through the epidemiological investigation of hypertension and obesity in preschool children in xuhui district, the present situation of hypertension and obesity in preschool children in central Shanghai was understood, and the correlation between the two was analyzed. Methods: A total of 43 institutions were selected in xuhui district, and all the children in the kindergarten were included in the study.Collect basic information: gender, age, height, weight and blood pressure. The criteria of diagnosis and grading of hypertension in children were percentile, and BMI was used to refer to WHO.Statistical methods: the measurement data were represented by mean ± standard deviation, group t test was used for inter-group comparison, and oneway anova and LSD were used for comparison of multiple samples. The count data was expressed as percentage, and the comparison between groups was tested by X2 test.Logistic regression analysis was used for multiple factors.P<0.05 was set as statistically significant difference. Results: The distribution of hypertension in preschool children aged 3-6 years in the central urban area was investigated: the prevalence rate of hypertension was 3.25% in boys,3.70% in boys and 2.77% in girls, which was higher in boys than girls. The onset age starts from 2 to 3 years old, with the prevalence rate of 2.59%,showing a trend of younger age,and the incidence of hypertension shows a trend of gradual increase with age.Hypertension was mainly grade 1,accounting for 88.16%.Distribution status of obesity: overweight rate of 12.43%,obesity rate of 5.39%,overweight rate of 17.74%,boys are higher than girls.Correlation analysis of hypertension and obesity: the prevalence rate of hypertension in normal group was 2.63%,hyperrecombinant 4.06%,mild obesity group 8.69% and moderate and severe obesity group 19.39%.The prevalence rate of hypertension in moderately and severely obese children is 8.9 times that in normal children(OR=8.903),the prevalence rate of hypertension in mildly obese children is 3.5 times that in normal children(OR=3.521),and the prevalence rate of hypertension in overweight children is 1.6 times that in normal children(OR=1.566).With the upgrade of obesity level, the increase of systolic blood pressure was larger, and the increase of diastolic blood pressure was larger than that of diastolic blood pressure. Conclusion: The incidence of hypertension in children is at a low age,and the overweight obesity rate is high in preschool children.Obesity is a risk factor for hypertension. The prevention and control of hypertension and obesity should be carried out in preschool children.
