Objective To observe the clinical effect of "Activating the brain and regulating the bladder" acupuncture and common acupuncture in the treatment of urinary incontinence after ischemic stroke,in order to provide a reference for the choice of clinical treatment methods. Methods 70 patients with urinary incontinence after ischemic stroke meeting the inclusion criteria were selected from the acupuncture and encephalopathy clinics and wards of Ningxia Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine and research Institute of traditional Chinese Medicine, and the subjects were randomly divided into groups A("Activating the brain and regulating the bladder"),group B(common acupuncture group),35 cases in each group. The treatment is 5 days a week, and the weekend is closed. One week is a course of treatment, and a total of 3 courses are treated.Relevant indicators were recorded before treatment,3 weeks, and 4weeks after treatment using urinary incontinence clinical symptom score, urinary incontinence degree, maximum bladder capacity, and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)socre to evaluate the effect.Results1.General data: There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of patients in terms of gender, course of disease, age and all evaluation indexes before treatment between the two groups(P> 0.05),indicating that groups A and B are comparable.2.Symptoms of urinary incontinence: The scores of clinical symptoms of urinary incontinence in group A and group B were decreased after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment, and there were significant differences(P <0.01);urinary incontinence was reduced after treatment and follow-up In terms of clinical symptom scores, group A was better than group B with statistical difference(P <0.05).3.Degree of urinary incontinence: the degree of urinary incontinence in group A and group B was significantly improved after treatment and 4 weeks follow-up(P < 0.01);the degree of urinary incontinence in group A was better than that in group B after treatment and 4 weeks follow-up(P < 0.05).4.Maximum volume of bladder: after treatment and 4 weeks follow-up,the maximum volume of bladder in group A and group B increased significantly(P <0.01);after treatment and 4 weeks follow-up,the maximum volume of bladder in group A was better than that in group B,with statistical difference(P < 0.05).5.NIHSS socre: After treatment and after 4 weeks of follow-up,the NIHSS scores of group A and B were lower than those before treatment, and there were significant differences(P <0.01);after treatment and 4 weeks of follow-up,the NIHSS score was reduced. Both groups were better than group B,with statistical ditterences(P <0.05).6.Comprehensive evaluation: Efficacy evaluation of the degree of urinary incontinence: Total effective rate: 82.35% in group A and 69.70% in group B,there is a statistically significant difference in efficacy between the two groups(P<0.05)curative effect evaluation of clinical symptoms of urinary incontinence: always efficiency: 85.29% in group A and 60.61% in group B.There was a statistically significant difference in efficacy between the two groups(P <0.05).Conclusion1."Activating the brain and regulating the bladder" acupuncture and commonacunpuncture can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of urinary incontinence after ischemic stroke.2.“The therapeutic effect of acupuncture "Activating the brain and regulating the bladder" on urinary incontinence after ischemic stroke is clear. In terms of improving the clinical symptoms of urinary incontinence, the degree of urinary incontinence, the maximum bladder capacity, and reducing the NIHSS score, the efficacy is significantly better than that of common acupuncture.
