Design And Application Of High Value Medical Consumables Managementn System

With the development of clinical medicine and biomedical material,high value medical consumables are widely used in various operations and interventional therapy.High value medical consumables are special medical consumables which need to be implanted in human body by operation.They are very important for safety guarantee.Therefore,hospital should keep a tight control on the purchase and use of high value medical consumables.At present,high value medical consumables management system in most hospitals is deployed in intranet,which is still in static management state.This management is facing many challenges,such as low efficiency and difficulties in tracing information,which cannot meet the requirement of heavy and complicated work.Thus it is significant to design a system based in internet that can trace the information of high value medical consumables.It can regulate the procurement,using and traceability of high value consumables.Hospitals can realize the management of high value medical consumables in a close loop manner.Combined with the current situation of high value consumables management and the informationization of Suqian people's hospital,the author designed the high value medical consumables management system.The system was based on B/S structure with Visual studio 2010 and SQL Server 2008 R2 as devolpoement tool,adopting the Internet of things technology,the bar code technology and ASP.NET technology.It consists of nine modules,including basic information management module,system maintaining module,operational mangement module,purchasing management module,bar code management module,warehouse management module,financial management module,tracing management module and supplier management platform.Finally,the system has realized information management of high value consumables,including the whole process of purchasing,using and tracing.The system has friendly interface and easily operation.Hospital services can perform many operations through system such as applying,examining and approving,purchasing,charging,tracing and so on.Logging in supplier management platform,suppliers can input the information of high value medical consumables,upload certificates and query the order.The application of this system greatly improves the working efficiency,reduces the human error.It is important for reducing hospital costs and improving the benefit of hospital.
