Effect Of Wuzi Dihuang Decoction On Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Complicated With Osteoporosis And Its Influence On CTx And PINP

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Wuzi Dihuang Decoction in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)with kidney deficiency and blood stasis and osteoporosis(OP),and to evaluate its safety,providing a new program and experience for clinical practice.Methods: A total of 60 patients with T2 DM complicated with OP(kidney deficiency and blood stasis type)were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases for each group.All patients were treated with conventional western medicine.The control group was orally administered with calcitriol capsules and vitamin D calcium chewable tablets.The treatment group was additionally administered with Wuzi Dihuang Decoction based on the control group.Observation period: half a year,collect and record the TCM symptoms and related clinical indicators before and after treatment in the two groups,and evaluate its efficacy and safety.Results: ?The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).?The decrease of total score and single score in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).?In terms of FBG,PBG,HbA1 C,CTx,PINP,BMD,PTH and other indicators,PINP and BMD increased,FBG,PBG,HbA1 C,CTx,PTH decreased in both groups after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);compared with the control group,BMD,PINP increased and FBG,PBG,HbA1 C,CTx,PTH decreased in the treatment group were superior to the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).?No adverse reactions occurred in the two groups before and after treatment,considering that Wuzi Dihuang Decoction is clinically safe and reliable.Conclusion: Wuzi Dihuang Decoction can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of T2 DM patients with OP,regulate blood glucose,maintain calcium and phosphorus metabolism,increase PINP,reduce CTx,increase BMD,reduce fracture risk,no adverse reactions were found,safe and effective,and can provide a clinical treatment strategy.
