Objectives:Tai Chi is one of traditional Chinese sports. In the practice process, not only the coordination of hands and feet should be paid attention to,but also the adjustment of breathing and the communication of consciousness. There are no restrictions on the training ground and practice group, and as a moderate intensity aerobic exercise, tai chi is also relatively safe.Research has shown that Tai Chi can improve cognitive function of the human body, such attention switching, working memory, etc. And individuals of the methamphetamine dependents suffer from cognitive impairment. Therefore,a safe and effective way to help their recovery is needed. We hypothesized that Tai Chi can improve the executive function of methamphetamine addicts,in order to confirm this hypothesis, this reaserch adopts Tai Chi to intervene in women's drug rehabilitation centers to compare the actual effects of different sports on the task conversion, refresh, and suppression functions of ATS dependent performers,to provide theoretical support for further understanding of the effect of Tai Chi on executive function of methamphetamine addictsMethods:The subjects were from the Shanghai Separated Women's Drug Rehabilitation Institute.According to the actual situation of the drug rehabilitation center,80methamphetamine dependent patients who met the inclusion criteria and experimental requirements were randomly divided into two groups by computer and the experimental group?N=40?for Tai Chi,during this period,no other exercise was performed, and the control group?N=40?performed training in finger exercises, square dances, and broadcast gymnastics. The exercise time of two groups was 1 hour each time, and the exercise frequency was 3 times a week. The exercise intervention lasted for 3 months. The experimental group was given three times a week, two of which were taught by strictly trained instructors for 60 minutes, and the other one was supervised by trained policemen for 30 minutes, the control group followed the program of daily activities carried out by the mandatory isolation and rehabilitation center.Executive function test and physical fitness test were conducted before and after the experiment.Among them, the functional test program was written by e-prime3.0,and the obtained data were analyzed by SPSS22.0 software.Repeated measures anova was used for intra-group comparison, and independent sample t-test was used for continuous variables in baseline. Results:In the behavioral inhibition test, the time main effect of accuracy was significant(F?1,68?=9.6,p<0.05),the accuracy of the experimental group increased significantly, and the response time of both groups decreased significantly(F?1,68?=16.86,p<0.001).In the cognitive inhibition test, the time main effect of reaction time was significant(F?1,67?=11.45,p<0.05),and the reaction time of both groups was significantly decreased. In the refresh function test, the interaction between the accuracy time and the group was significant(F?1,61?=4.73,p=0.03).According to the simple effect analysis, the accuracy of the control group after the test was significantly lower than the pretest, and the main effect of the response time was significant(F?1,61?=4.66,p<0.05).The response time of the control group after the test was significantly lower than the pretest. In the physical fitness test, there were significant differences in BMI(F?1,68?=19.57),vital capacity(F?1,68?=5.99)and systolic blood pressure(F?1,68?=6.11)between the experimental group and the control group. Conclusions:Tai Chi is a physical and mental exercise that has unique effects in improving heart, body function and executive function. It can improve the correct rate and response of methamphetamine dependent behavior and maintain the existing refresh function level. At the same time,Tai Chi can improve the physical condition of methamphetamine dependent patients, especially lung capacity, blood pressure and flexibility.
