Clinical Observation Of "Bitong Lotion" Fumigation Combined With Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation(Wind-Damp-Heat Obstruction Type)

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of"Bitong lotion"fumigation combined with acupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(wind-damp-heat obstruction type).To explore the efficacy of"Bitong lotion"fumigation combined with acupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(wind-damp-heat obstruction type),so as to provide clinical reference for the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(wind-damp-heat obstruction type).Methods:Sixty patients with lumbar disc herniation who were admitted to the first section of orthopedics department,Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January2019 to December 2019 were randomly divided into experimental group(n=30)and control group(n=30).The shedding cases were excluded,and the final experimental group(n=26)and control group(n=26).The control group was treated with acupuncture for 30 minutes,once a day,acupuncture points Shenshu,waist Jiaji,Weizhong,as the main points,sanjiaoshu,quchi,as the match points,both sides.The experimental group was first fumigated with"Bitong lotion"in XJZC-I,a Sanzhou intelligent fumigation steam therapeutic instrument,for 30 minutes,and after a 10-minute rest,the above-mentioned acupuncture treatment was given for 30 minutes,once a day.Every 5 days of treatment,rest for 2 days,4weeks as a course of treatment.The Japanese Orthopaedic Association Score(JOA),Visual Analogue Score(VAS),the Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)were observed before and after treatment,adverse reactions and curative effect evaluation after treatment were recorded and the statistical software SPSS 24.0 was used to do a statistical ananysis.Results:1.During the treatment,4 patients in each group were quit automatically because of a long course of treatment.In the end,there were 26 cases in both the test group and the control group.2.There was no significant difference in the distribution of general data(sex,age,course of disease)between the two groups(P>0.05).3.There was no significant difference in the JOA score between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the JOA scores of the two groups were improved,and the improvement index of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P=0.000<0.05),indicating that the treatment scheme of the experimental group could better improve the lumbar function.4.There was no significant difference in the VAS score between the two groups before the test(P>0.05),and it was comparable.After the test,both groups could improve the VAS score,and the VAS score of the test group was higher than that of the control group(P=0.002<0.05),indicating that the experimental group was better in improving pain after treatment.5.There was no significant difference in the ODI score of low back pain between the two groups before the test(P>0.05),which could be compared.The ODI scores of the two groups were improved after treatment,and the improvement index of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P=0.045<0.05),indicating that the experimental group could better improve the effect of the disease on the subjects'lives.6.Comparing the total effective rate of the two groups after treatment,by chi-square test,the results showed that the difference was statistically significant(?~2=4.127,P=0.042<0.05),and the total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,indicating that the clinical effect of the experimental group was better.7.During the treatment,there were no adverse reactions such as dizzy needle,broken needle,needle or alcohol allergy,infection,scald,drug eruption,internal heat,cold and so on,indicating that the two methods have high safety.Conclusion:The curative effect of"Bitong lotion"fumigation combined with acupuncture on lumbar disc herniation(wind-damp-heat obstruction type)is better than that of simple acupuncture therapy.The former has a better effect on the pain and lumbar function of patients with lumbar disc herniation(wind-damp-heat obstruction type),and can reduce the effect of lumbar disc herniation(wind-damp-heat obstruction type)on their daily life,and there is no obvious adverse reaction.
