Objective To observe the curative effect and safety of Zhang shi Yao tui tong recipe combined with electro-acupuncture on treatment of lumbar disc herniation(LDH)of damp-heat syndrome type, and compare it with the treatment of Zhang shi Yao tui tong recipe and diclofenac sodium sustained-release tablets. To investigate the efficacy and mechanism of Zhang shi Yao tui tong recipe and electro-acupuncture in the treatment of LDH,so that clinicians pay attention to the traditional Chinese medicine and electro-acupuncture,attach importance to the selection of electro-acupuncture points, and further explore the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine and electro-acupuncture and other traditional Chinese conservative treatment. Methods 120 patients with LDH that met the diagnosis and inclusion criteria were randomly divided into traditional Chinese medicine electro-acupuncture group, traditional Chinese medicine group and western medicine group,40 cases each.Traditional Chinese medicine electro-acupuncture group:Traditional Chinese medicine of Zhang shi Yao tui tong recipe combined with electro-acupuncture,taking Chinese medicine twice a day,electro-acupuncture treatment 3 times a week.Chinese medicine group:Oral treatment of Zhang shi Yao tui tong recipe.Western medicine group:Oral treatment of diclofenac sodium sustained-release tablets.Three groups were treated for 3 weeks.VAS,lumbar JOA scores, and clinical efficacy evaluation criteria were used to observe changes in pain, lumbar function, and other changes before and after treatment. Results ?After treatment, the VAS of the three groups were significantly improved, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison between groups:Chinese medicine electro-acupuncture group and Western medicine group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)?There was no significant difference in the difference between the Chinese medicine group and the traditional Chinese medicine electro-acupuncture group and western medicine group(P>0.05).The analgesic effect of the traditional Chinese medicine electro-acupuncture group was better than that of the western medicine group, but the analgesic effect of the traditional Chinese medicine group was similar to that of the traditional Chinese medicine electro-acupuncture group and the western medicine group.? After treatment,JOA scores of lumbar spine were significantly improved in all three groups, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference between the traditional Chinese medicine electro-acupuncture group and the traditional Chinese medicine group was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference between the traditional Chinese medicine electro-acupuncture group and the western medicine group was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the Chinese medicine group and the Western medicine group(P>0.05).The results showed that the traditional Chinese medicine electro-acupuncture group had better lumbar function than Chinese medicine group and western medicine group, but Chinese medicine group and western medicine group had similar effect on improving lumbar function.?The total effective rate of the traditional Chinese medicine electro-acupuncture group was 97.4%,and the significantly effective rate was 76.3%.The total effective rate of the Chinese medicine group was 86.1%,and the significantly effective rate was 47.2%.The total effective rate of the western medicine group was 78.1%,and the significantly effective rate was 28.1%.The three groups were compared and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The clinical efficacy of the three groups was compared.the difference between the traditional Chinese medicine electro-acupuncture group and the traditional Chinese medicine group was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference between the traditional Chinese medicine electro-acupuncture group and western medicine group was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the Chinese medicine group and the western medicine group(P>0.05).The results showed that the clinical efficacy of the traditional Chinese medicine electro-acupuncture group was better than that of the traditionalChinese medicine group and the western medicine group, and the clinical efficacy of the Chinese medicine group and the western medicine group was similar. Conclusion Zhang shi Yao tui tong recipe combined with electro-acupuncture treatment of LDH damp-heat syndrome type clinical curative effect,no obvious adverse reactions, and the curative effect is better than oral Zhang shi Yao tui tong recipe and diclofenac sodium sustained-release tablets, the latter two clinical The effect is similar.
