The Clinical Observation Of Treating Colles' Fracture By Xinshang Xuduang Decoction Combined With Hybrid External Fixation

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Xinshang Xuduan decoction with combined external fixator in the treatment of Colles' fracture,and to explore significance of the combination therapy in the clinical treatment through this study,in order to explore a better treatment method for Colles' fracture and to provide a certain objective basis for its clinical application.Methods A total of 94 patients with Colles' fracture who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria in this study were divided into two groups by random number table: In the control group,47 cases were treated with routine anti-inflammatory,analgesic therapy and early functional exercise after underwent combined external fixator;In the experimental group,47 cases were given Xinshang Xuduan decoction on the basic treatment of the control group.Scores of pain index,degree of swelling,and healing time,recovery of wrist function and imaging indexes were compared to analyze and compare the two kinds of treatment methods.SPSS20.0 software was used to perform statistical analysis for all data.Results 1.Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in gender,age,distribution of injured side,VAS score,swelling score,and imaging indicators including dorsal tilt,radial tilt and radial shortening between the two groups(P>0.05),which suggested comparative research value.2.Inter-group comparison of VAS sore and swelling score of wrist: there were statistically significant differences in comparing VAS score and swelling score of wrist at 1,2 and 4 weeks after the operation(P<0.05).The degree of pain and swelling reduced after the treatment in both groups.There were significant differences in inter-group comparison at the three time-points(P<0.05).The experimental group had better efficacy in relieving pain and reducing swelling degree than that of the control group.3.Score of wrist function : Mann-whitney U test was performed to evaluate score of wrist function of the two groups at 8 and 12 weeks after the operation,and there was a significant difference(P<0.05).Moreover,the excellent and good rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,which indicated the treat ment scheme of the experimental group was more effective in improving wrist function.4.Healing time: the comparison of healing time in the two groups underwent t test that showed a significant difference(P<0.05),which indicated the formula used in the experimental group had the effect of promoting fracture healing.5.Imaging indicators: by comparing imaging indicators including dorsal tilt,radial tilt and radial shortening at 1,4 and 8 week after the operation,there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups,which meant there was no significant difference by two kinds of treatment methods in terms of imaging changes.After repeated analysis of variance at each time point,it was found that there was slightly lost of the postoperative anatomical position,but the loss was not obvious and still within the standard permission scope.The combined external fixation frame was firmand reliably.Conclusions The clinical efficacy of Xinshang Xuduan decoction with combined external fixator in the treatment of Colles' fracture was significant.Compared with conventional post operative treatment such as simple anti-inflammatory,analgesia and functional exercise,it has more advantages and can improve the clinical symptoms and wrist function of patients in early stage,improve the quality of life,and to make patients getting recovery of labor force earlier.
