Objective:To observe the clinical effect of improved manual reduction and traditional technique reduction on Colles fractureand.Method:there were 60 patients with Colles fracture in Yangquan coalmine group general hospital from November 2015 to April 2016 were observed. They were divided into two treatment groups accord to the treatment of patients received, the group A was treatment of improved manual reduction and the group B was treatment of traditional technique reduction, each group 30 cases. Two groups were externally fixing with gypsum and splint and guiding to rehabilitation exercise by doctor, observed for 3 months. The evaluation of forearm swelling degree,VAS pain score,X ray film(including palm Angle, foot Angle, radial length),incidence of complications and wrist joint function recovery of contrast and analysis of the two methods of treatment. After evaluation, analyze the recorded data by SPSS19.0.Results:The contrast of the treated X — ray between two group was not signifieant(P>0.05).Compared with the surgery group, the wrist funetion of the group A significantly better than the group B(after 8 weeks).but the wrist funetion of the group A and group B have no significant after 12 weeks. There is statistical significance between two groups in the evaluation of forearm swelling degree and VAS pain score(P<0.05),the swelling and pain of group A subsided faster than group B.The last follow-up,the incidence of complications of group A less than group B(P<0.05),It was the improved manual reduction group 67% and the traditional technique reduction group 83%.Conclusion:For treating Colles fracture, the improved manual reduction group better than the traditional technique reduction group in the evaluation of forearm swelling degree,VAS pain score, incidence of complications and wrist joint function recovery.but from the evaluation of X ray film and fracture healing in the last two groups there was no significant difference in the final function recovery.
