At present, due to advances in medical research,AIDS has become a long-term controllable chronic disease.Antiviral drugs can prolong the survival of HIV-infected persons/patients and greatly improve their survival rates. However, under the condition that their condition is controlled, people living with HIV/AIDS will still suffer from various complications, side effects of drugs, stigma of disease, work, family life, etc.,and their family members and primary caregivers will also encounter difficulties.Therefore,HIV-infected persons/patients are faced not only with AIDS itself, but with long-term adaptation issues, and how they and their families will face together.Based on this, this study explores the family resilience course of HIV-infected persons/patients through a combination of quantitative study and qualitative study. This study consists of the following three parts:Study 1:Revise the family resilience scale applicable to people living with HIV/AIDS in China.Taking the AIDS Diagnosis and Treatment Quality Control Center of C City,Hebei Province and people living with HIV/AIDS on the Internet as the research objects,283effective scales were recovered during initial testing and 474 effective scales were recovered during retesting.Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was used.Form a family resilience scale with good reliability and validity.Study 2:Survey of family resilience among people living with HIV/AIDS.A survey of546 HIV-infected persons/patients were conducted using the HIV/AIDS Family Resilience Scale to understand the overall level of family resilience and grasp the differences in demographic variables.Study 3:Qualitative study on family resilience in HIV/AIDS.First,define the HIV-infected persons/patients with the top 27%of the family resilience score as the subjects with high family resilience, and then consider the group specificity, research purpose, interview willingness, and ethics.Resilience subjects selected 9 HIV-infected persons/patients and 3 family members or primary caregivers for interviews. The texts are collated, analyzed, and coded step by step to explore how their families coexist with AIDS and achieve growth and development in adversity, and then make interpretive conclusions on their resistance. The result of the research are as follows:First,The revised"HIV/AIDS Family Resilience Scale"has 15 items, including the three dimensions of"responsibility","perception"and"anti-stigma".It has good reliability and validity, and can be used as an effective tool for measuring and evaluating the level of family resilience of AIDS groups in China.CD4~+TSecond,The family resistance of people living with HIV/AIDS is generally at a medium level, and There were significant differences in nine variables:gender, education, marital status, occupation, average monthly income, infection route,CD4~+T lymphocyte index, primary caregiver and living status in the past year.Third,HIV-infected persons/patients will experience real issues such as physical torture, prolonged depression, perceived stigma, inconvenient living, family breakdown, and desire for social support. This part of the content can be extracted as physical experience, psychological experience, life situation, social relationship, and mind.Fourth,HIV-infected persons/patients will face difficulties such as quality of life, family order, physical and mental status of family members or primary caregivers, and factors that maintain their family stability include family changes, family traditions, etc.,Then develop into family unity and facing together. This part of the content can be extracted into family adversity, family interaction, family foundation, and family sharing.Fifth,HIV-infected persons/patients accept reality and cherish their lives after adversity, and can rebuild their cognition, start a new life, and then create the need for self-development.This part of the content can be extracted as immortality, hope persists, value longing.Sixth,Family risk factors for people living with HIV/AIDS include:facts of illness, family stigma, cumulative stress effects;Family protection factors include:family belief system and family organization;Family recovery factors include:adjustment mechanism and external intervention;Family growth factors include:self-actualization and family integration.
