ObjectiiveTo investigate the clinical efficacy of cycle-based acupuncture therapy in the treatment of hyperplasia of mammary glands with maladjustment of Chong and Ren channels, and the influence on the infrared temperature of Ren channe, the differences in temperature changes of the Ren channel were analyzed, and the law was explored,so as to provide reference for clinical treatment.MethodsA total of 68 female patients meeting the inclusion criteria were collected. The patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the envelope method. The main points of the treatment group were CV17,ST18,ST36,SP6.Treatment was carried out once every other day, with three times/week,30-min needle-retaining/time and manipulation once. One menstrual cycle was one course, and treatment was continuous for three menstrual cycles. In the control group CV17,ST18,ST36,SP6,LR14,SP10,ST9 points were taken, and the rest were the same as the treatment group. Before and after treatment, infrared thermography of breast, color Doppler ultrasound examination and breast test scores, comprehensive scores of TCM systemic symptoms, and quality of life scores were performed.According to the results, the clinical efficacy of cycle-based acupuncture therapy in the treatment of hyperplasia of mammary glands was evaluated, and its effect on the infrared temperature of Ren channel was explored.ResultsIn main clinical efficacy,5 patients were cured,17 were markedly effective,8 were effective and 3 were ineffective in the cycle-based acupuncture group, with the total effective rate of 90.90%.1 patients were cured,11 were markedly effective,12 were effective and 7were ineffective in the ordinary acupuncture group, with the total effective rate of 78.13%.The main clinical efficacy of the cycle-based acupuncture group was better than that of the ordinary acupuncture group(P<0.05).In secondary clinical efficacy,8 patients were cured,19 were markedly effective,5were effective and 1were ineffective in the cycle-based acupuncture group, with the total effective rate of 96.97%.2 patients were cured,10 were markedly effective,16 were effective and 4were ineffective in the ordinary acupuncture group, with the total effective rate of 87.50%.The secondary clinical efficacy of the cycle-based acupuncture group was better than that of the ordinary acupuncture group(P<0.01).In the main symptoms of hyperplasia of mammary glands, breast pain, mass hardness and mass size were significantly improved in the two groups(P<0.01),but the improvement was similar(P>0.05).In TCM systemic clinical symptoms, there ware significant improvement in the two groups(P<0.01),but the improvement was similar(P>0.05).In the quality of life, there ware significant improvement in the two groups(P<0.01),and the cycle-based acupuncture group was better than that of the ordinary acupuncture group(P<0.01).The evaluation of color ultrasound demonstrated that no significant differences were found in BI-RADS grade or the number of nodules in the breast masses before and after treatment in the two groups(P>0.05),but the size of breast nodules was significantly improvedin the two groups after treatment(P<0.01),and the improvement in the cycle-based acupuncture group was more obvious than that in the ordinary acupuncture group(P<0.01).In the infrared temperature of Ren channel,no significant changes were found in the highest temperature △T and the lowest temperature △T before and after treatment in the two groups(P>0.05),but the changes in the average temperature △T was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the average temperature of the Ren channel after treatment was significantly higher than that before treatment in the cycle-based acupuncture group.△T of Zhongwan,Shenque and Guanyuan acupoints showed no significant changes before and after treatment in the two groups(P>0.05),but the changes in △T of Shanzhong acupoint presented significant statistical significance(P<0.01),and the temperature of Shanzhong acupoint after treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment in the cycle-based acupuncture group.Results1.Both cycle-based acupuncture therapy and ordinary acupuncture therapy have good efficacy in the treatment of hyperplasia of mammary glands with maladjustment of Chong and Ren channels.2.The efficacy of cycle-based acupuncture therapy is better than that of ordinary acupuncture therapy in the treatment of hyperplasia of mammary glands with maladjustment of Chong and Ren channels, especially in improving the quality of life and the size of breast nodules in color ultrasound.3.Cycle-based acupuncture therapy can regulate the infrared temperature of the Ren channel.
