Objective To study the effect of different urinary catheterization time after gynecological laparoscopic surgery on patients' rapid recovery. Methods Dividing the one hundred twenty patients housed in the Department of Gynecology,Minda Hospital of Hubei Minzu University into an test group and a control group using random digits. Both groups have sixty patients. The test group will be removed of catheter in four hours, and the control group will be removed of catheter in twenty-four hours as usual. And compare the CAUTI,the initial time of getting out of bed and the recovery of gastrointestinal function, the degree of comfort, initial voluntary urination and the ALOS.Finally all the data will be recorded and analyzed. Results Comparison of two groups:(1)The Urinary Tract Infection: the test group's Urine sediment WBC?ten/HPF two cases(3%),eight cases in the control group(13%),and the differernce has statistical significance(P<0.05);the irritation symptoms of bladder: there are three cases(5%)in the test group while eleven cases(18%)in the control group, and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.05).The Urinary Tract Infection combined with the irritation symptoms of bladder: zero cases in the test group and two cases in the control group, and the difference has no statistical significance(P=0.4758>0.05),which means indwelling catheterization of four hours after gynecological laparoscopy can reduce CAUTI.(2)The initial time of getting out of bed after operation: for the test group,it's 10.82±5.79 hour, and for the control group,it's20.46±4.73 hour, and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.01).The initial anal exhaust time after operation: for the test group,it's 16.20±6.58 hour, and for the control group,it's19.90±4.49 hour, and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.01),which means indwelling catheterization of four hours after gynecological laparoscopy can effectively promote boost the recovery of thegastrointestinal function.(3)The degree of comfort: there are fifty seven cases level I(94%),three cases level two(6%)and zero cases level three in the test group;while fourty two cases(70%)level one, fifteen cases(25%)level two and three cases(5%)level three in the control group.and the difference over the degree of comfort has statistical significance(P<0.01),which means indwelling catheterization of four hours after gynecological laparoscopy can effectively raise the degree of comfort of the patient.(4)The urinaton smoothness of patients after the extraction of catheters:in the test group, fifty five cases(92%)are observed to be smooth in the initial urination. And five cases(8%)have difficulty in the initial urination. In the control group, fourty six cases(77%)are found to be smooth in the initial urination. And fourteen cases(23%)have difficulty in the initial urination. The initial urination difference between the two groups has statistical significance(P<0.05),which means indwelling catheterization of four hours after gynecological laparoscopy can effectively promote initial smooth urination.(5)The ALOS: for the test group,it's5.12±0.83 day,and for the control group,it's 5.13±0.90 day,the difference has no statistical significance(P=0.9159),which means indwelling catheterization of four hours after gynecological laparoscopy have not increase the ALOS.Conclusion Indwelling catheterization of four hours after gynecological laparoscopy can effectively reduce CAUTI,boost the recovery of the gastrointestinal function, raise the degree of comfort of the patient, promote initial smooth urination, not increase the ALOS and enhanced the recovery after surgery.
