Nursing professional English is a branch of ESP,which is aimed at the professional English used by nurses.For one thing,at present,traditional grammar teaching mode is widely used in nursing English teaching in foreign nursing specialty of sample school.This mode only carries out linguistic analysis of textbooks,supplemented by English-Chinese translation of professional terms.With the continuous development of social economy,there is a systematic deviation between the effect of this teaching mode on training foreign-related nursing talents and the market demand.The manifestations are as follows: foreign nursing graduates can not use English in real medical and nursing situations,hospitals have low recognition of foreign nursing students' employment ability.For another,the teachers who are in engaged in nursing English teaching are all English teachers.They are generally lack in nursing specialty,so they are not fully competent for nursing English teaching.At last,because the students in foreign nursing specialty of sample school learn English without any nursing knowledge,they have poor learning effects.Therefore,whether from the perspective of student's knowledge development,teacher's specialization or personnel training,the research on nursing English interdisciplinary team teaching is of great importance.In order to explore how to carry out effective teaching in Nursing English classroom,and how to solve the problem of deviation between the training of foreign-related nursing personnel and the demand for posts,the contents of this study are as follows: Firstly,based on theoretical research,an interdisciplinary teaching model of medical English is proposed,and the new teaching model is applied to the practical teaching of medical English.For this reason,the author takes four classes of foreign-related nursing specialty in ** secondary vocational school as the research object,of which two experimental classes adopt the interdisciplinary teamwork teaching mode and two control classes still use the traditional grammar teaching mode.Secondly,the questionnaire method is investigated the current situation of Nursing English teaching in the sample school and the teaching effect of the experimental class students who implemented the interdisciplinary team teaching mode after the experiment.The interview method is used to interview the teachers who participated in the research to understand their attitudes and opinions.Besides,the experimental comparison method is used to compare the two teaching modes,and the final evaluation results of the control class and the experimental class are analyzed,and the final research results are obtained.Finally,based on the results of the experiment,some suggestions are put forward to promote the interdisciplinary team teaching model of nursing English.By constructing the Nursing English multidisciplinary teaching team and implementing interdisciplinary team teaching model in the Medical English class,the research findings show that:firstly,interdisciplinary team teaching mode can promote students' learning attitude,learning effect and nursing language application ability.Secondly,interdisciplinary team teaching mode can promote teaching preparation,teaching process and professional development.Thirdly,the method of interdisciplinary team teaching mode is feasible and effective.It is hoped that this study will be helpful to improve Nursing English in secondary vocational schools.
