The study of World Health Organization shows that the need of qualified nurses has greatly increased since 2012.China,as a service-export country,provides a number of qualified nurses who are good at English for the international labor market every year.However,with increasing of China's aging population and concern of the national health care,China begins to be bothered by the shortage of good-educated nurses.In addition,with accelerating of China's economic and increasing of all kinds of international exchange activities,more and more foreigners are working and living in China.Now,China urgently needs a large amount of nurses who are good at not only nursing skills but English language.At present,the English teaching modes of vocational colleges are still relatively backward.English knowledge taught in colleges may not apply in the nursing practice.In order to solve the problem and realize the closest connection between theory and practice,the educational ideas and traditional teaching methods have to be reformed to be suitable for current vocational education.In the thesis,to analyze and design implementation of situational communicative approach(SCA)in English Teaching of higher vocational nursing,to verify and evaluate the SCA teaching achievements in the experimental research tests and to guide Higher Vocational English teaching in the future,the SCA is researched.Firstly,the theories of Situational Communication Approach in Higher Vocational English teaching are studied.I orderly analyze the particularities of Higher Vocational English teaching;the learning characteristics of students in higher vocational colleges;relative methods of situational communicative approach.From the angle of theories study,it is proved that situational communication approach is adapted to the English Teaching in Higher Vocational colleges and this part theoretically support and guide implementation of the communicative approach in Higher Vocational Nursing English teaching.Secondly,the application modes of situational communicative approach in English Teaching of higher vocational nursing are designed.This part is consisted of two phrases: basic phrase and improve phase.In basic phrase,situational communicative teaching modes in different English skills' classes are studied and designed.In improve phrase,attention is focused on how to apply situational communicative teaching methods in the clinical nursing spoken English teaching in the teaching training rooms.Finally,the contrast experiments are adopted to test the results of the situational communicative teaching and the SPSS is used to analyze and evaluate the results of the tests.Application of the study can reverse nurse students' learning attitude that the students do not pay attention to learning and hate learning;changes the learning current situation that the students want to learn but don't know how to learn;solves the employment problem that what to learn are not used in work;even broadens the channels of employment of students,for example,the students who are well in English can go abroad for employment,or go to the domestic foreign hospitals and alleviates the social contradictions caused by the shortage of " English + nursing " compound talents.
