| Objective By analyzing the demographic characteristics,knowledge of AIDS prevention and control,sexual behavior characteristics and related influencing factors of young students in Hohhot sentinel universities in 2017-2019,we find out the weak links in the present work,improve the sentinel monitoring work of Hohhot state-level student groups,and provide scientific basis for better formulation and adjustment of AIDS prevention and control strategies,and develop effective AIDS prevention and control knowledge for young student groups education and related behavior interventions.Methods From April to June 2017 to2019,a phased cluster sampling method was used to investigate 2411 students in Hohhot sentinel colleges.The questionnaire refers to the"Young Students"in the"Operation Manual of the National AIDS Sentinel Surveillance Implementation Program(2017)".Data analysis was performed using SPSS19.0,using chi-square test,analysis of variance,and multivariate logistic regression.Results 2411 questionnaires were collected and the effective rate was99.30%.The AIDS awareness rate of 2411 young students was 91.62%,which were 91.90%?91.90%and 91.97%in 2017-2019 respectively,and the difference was not statistically significant(c~2=0.605,p=0.749).5.31%of the students(128 students)had sexual intercourse.The proportion of sexual intercourse in 2017-2019 was 7.25%,4.86%and 3.83%respectively,with a decreasing trend year by year trend(Trendsc~2=9.331,p=0.003).Average age for first sexual intercourse was 18.73±1.41 years old,Girlfriends/boyfriends,business partners and casual partners who first had sex were 94.53%(121/128),1.56%(2/128)and3.90%(5/128)respectively;63.28%(81/128)of students used condoms during their first sexual intercourse.The proportion of students who have had regular,temporary,commercial,or anal sex of the same sex in the past year were 1.74%,0.91%,0.12%,and 0.11%respectively,the rates of non-use of condoms in recent one-were 16.67%,18.18%,33.33%and 0.00%respectively.The percentage of students who had had risky sexual behavior in the last year was 0.31%(5/2411).The percentage of AIDS awareness services received75.11%(1811/2411),51.25%?82.04%and 91.84%respectively in 2017-2019,showing an increasing trend year by year(Trendsc~2=353.730,P<0.001),percentage of AIDS awareness services involved 28.04%(676/2411),13.25%?47.63%and 23.24%respectively in 2017-2019,participation was higher in 2018 than in 2017 and lower in 2019 than in 2018(Trendsc~2=19.449,P<0.001).During three years,no positive results HIV?syphilis antibody were detected,only one case of hepatitis C antibody positive was detected in 2017.Chi-square test and multivariate analysis showed that Han nationality(OR=1.516,95%CI:1.047-2.194),students who have received AIDS publicity services(OR=2.522,95%CI:1.876-3.391)have a higher awareness rate of AIDS;the risk of students'sexual behavior in this province is lower(OR=0.335,95%CI:0.145-0.770),and the risk of male sex behavior is higher(OR=8.415,95%CI:3.687-19.202).Hohhot sentinel college young students no take drugs,no HIV antibody,syphilis antibody positive,only one case of hepatitis C antibody was detected in 2017.Conclusions 1.The awareness of AIDS among young students in the post-post colleges and universities in Hohhot is good as a whole,but it has not yet reached the requirement of over 95%of the awareness rate of AIDS prevention and treatment knowledge among middle-aged and young students in the Implementation Plan for Combating AIDS Transmission(2019-2022).The Han nationality,has received the AIDS propaganda education is the student AIDS awareness rate promotion factor.2.The incidence of sexual behavior among young students in sentry colleges in Hohhot is low(5.31%),with a decreasing trend year by year trend in the last three years;the risk of students'sexual behavior in this province is lower than that of students in other provinces;boys are at a 8.415 times higher risk of having sex than girls.3.0.21% of students have risky sexual behavior and should continue to strengthen the school AIDS publicity and intervention.4.The proportion of young students in the outpost colleges in Hohhot received AIDS publicity services within one year before the survey was good,the proportion of receiving AIDS publicity service increased year by year,and the proportion of participating in AIDS publicity service was low.5.The development of online and offline activities on the We Chat platform of Hohhot,condom self-service free distribution machine and HIV urine self-testing reagent vending machine installed and used in the campus,to improve young students awareness of AIDS,improve dangerous behavior has a certain effect.However,it is still necessary to constantly innovate the form of propaganda,improve the effectiveness of propaganda,implement intervention measures,especially to change the concept of school leadership,and promote the school to take the initiative to carry out AIDS publicity and education work. |
